Authentic, delicious pizzas That are enormous, be awarethat are vegan and gluten-free options, so everyone can be cared for, Also Like us, you can take a basic pizzayou can build your own as By adding on olives, capers, garlic, anchovies, aswell. The service is excellent, we were a party of 10 yet we got served brilliantly and everyone was very happy. They even waited till the last person arrived, and took our pizza orders as and when we were ready! You cannot fault the food service and atmosphere, however, the only downside is that People with who are Mobility impaired have to still Go down a flight of quite narrow steep-stairs to get to the toilet and there is no disabled toilet, Although there’s a baby changing area, There is not any grab rails or real facilities for the disabled. If you’re in a wheelchair, you’re better to go to the Brighton branch which has disabled toilets on all levels.. It is really good value, and you cannot fault the food or service, there were 10 of us, we had drinks, hors d’oeuvres, pizzas, desserts, and coffee on average It was approximately £30 a person Including service whi ! is excellent value nowadays I would return in a heartbeat, but I wish they would think of the Mobility impaired, and at Least make their existing bathrooms More disabled friendly, We had an excellent evening, I did not hear one complaint about the food the flavours and the Service, which is unusual if there’s a large party there are options for eating inside or outside, on the ground floor or upstairs, we were placed inside but by the open door which was excellent because the people felt the cold could sit one end and those were hot sat by...
Read moreI live locally in Hove and try to support small local business. We eat in Fato reasonably regularly. As a family. Preferably outside in the sun. Just had late lunch. 3 of us. Have to say things appear to be going downhill a bit. As the weather is grim we ate inside. It’s looking grubby, tired and very unappealing. The blue colours are cold and miserable, worsened by the lighting which is cold and bleak. The windows were open and it was bloody freezing in there. I kept my coat on throughout and was not relaxed and warm. The windows were open and draughty and we had to move tables to avoid the draft. The colours need a revamp and refresh and something needs to add beauty, warmth and ambience inside. It’s a terrible decor. The bench seating also uncomfy and cold. Also there was no longer a tomato based side salad or even a caprese. We were offered bruschetta instead but that is not what we wanted as a salad to accompany pizza. Also the special pizza was a white pizza. But no one said and it wasn’t immediately obvious on ordering. So that wasn’t to our liking either. Partly my mistake no doubt. But responsive informative staff keep you up to speed on things like this. It wasn’t busy. Only 1 other table! So there was time for more attentive service. Also my sons pizza was watery and soggy. We do love your pizzas and know them well but lately they are often too wet, almost raw in the inner circle making it sloppy and hard to eat. Not right. Not enjoyable. Also Parma ham was not longer an option as an extra topping?? I mean whatever not?🤷♀️It’s not as good as before. And it needs to be. Competition...
Read moreI've been coming here for 10 years. I love the Nepolatana and my two sons enjoy the margarita. It's rare that I get an opportunity to spend quality time with my boys and step-son together without the girls! (Wife and stepdaughter). What better place to spend it than Fatto-a-mano. Unfortunately, the seemingly older and experienced staff totally spoiled it for us: Service was quick. Lightning quick. 5 minutes into eating. Both I and the eldest were finished and the lady came to clear our table. I asked if she could wait. 2 minutes later, after 3 of us had finished eating, the male server came to clear our plates - what about the youngest boy who was still eating? A couple of minutes later the original lady came and I politely asked her to leave us to enjoy our time together. Then the manager popped over just as my youngest gave me and his bother the last slice of pizza. He said "Looks like your plates are empty now but I'm glad you're having fun". There were at least 7 empty tables, they didn't need the space. The kids are aged 10-13 and were polite, not loud and really did me proud. We were bullied out of there after 20 mins (total time from ordering to leaving). I was looking for a nice place to relax and have quality time with step-son and boys. They took that away from me along with my money - I don't mind paying a lot, just don't treat me like a commodity. Your customers deserve better. We're on the hunt for a new pizza hangout. The kids even noticed the poor service and don't want to bother here anymore. End of...
