Azzaro Turkish Restaurant — Restaurant in England

Went on a recommendation and asked for the 2 swarma wrap offer. He acknowledged it was available. However, wrap arrived, not like on the photo of the menu as it was the wrap on its own on a small oblong plate with no pots of sauce. Lovely chicken and salad. Garlic sauce within wrap was lacking flavour. We went early afternoon so there was only one staff he was service and cook, I always worry when this occurs for hand cleanliness. Perhaps a sanitizer between sections showing it been used would help. When I went to pay I was charged full price. I asked was this the offer price, he said yes, he lied. I did not complain but thought my honest review would warm others.

We collected our order as they said they don't deliver. The place looked nice and average. Asked the guy who served us if the chicken burger is grilled ojr fried. He said it was grilled and so I ordered it. It was a cheap breaded burger and for the price it really isn't worth the money. The"steak" burger my son's had was no steak. Just a regular burger but at least they were honest about that. It was dry however, no cheese, no sauce on either burgers and neither were we offered any sauces to take with us. Very expensive for what you get but there's such little halal options in Scarborough we had to go...

Very bad experience — a complete waste of money. We visited with another family, and there were only two employees. One took our orders, then went to the kitchen to prepare food for both families, which took a very long time. Meanwhile, the other employee left to go to Lidl to buy Pepsi and chicken nuggets for the kids’ meals.

When the food finally arrived, the chicken shawarma was awful — tasteless and seemingly old. We wanted to order other dishes, but were told that only chicken shawarma was available. Very...
