Bacaro Weymouth — Restaurant in England

Wow wow wow. What a great Italian dining experience in Weymouth. It was a beautiful laid-out restaurant with an open cooking kitchen. The starters were exceptional the fried Gnocchi with garlic was bursting with flavour, and before it was served my senses could smell this lovely garlicky aroma, this was a starter that would knock the socks off a lot of places I have eaten, the paste with cress was just perfect combination. The main course was just like exploding with flavours, the chef knew his hand and his flavours as Tagliatelle di Zucca, Butternut and shallots roasted then pureed and fried to create an interesting, flavoursome new pasta dish and Damm it was good the paste was perfectly balanced and just went so well with pasta. Baked Pistachio Crusted Cod Served with pistachio cream sauce, crushed new potatoes and creamed leeks, Oh my god this was the one the cod cooked to perfection all the accompanying parts on the plate made all the difference, again the chef surpassed the elements of cooking and smashed or out of the park. The kids' menu was really wea ll thought out, garlic bread was soft and tasty. Mini Pizza Margherita, lovely tomato base with good amount of cheese on the pizza. The only thing that was a disappointmernt was the desert, Raspberry and Pistachio Cheesecake served with pistachio crumb and raspberry compote, no tatse on the cheese cake no flavoiur in the cheese tatse more like actual soft cream cheese with pistachios. What a beautiful restaurant. The warm and yet spacious feel creates a lovely welcoming atmosphere in conjunction with its phenomenal and presentable staff. The seating is comfortable and yet supporting and the table is smooth and at an optimal distance from the seat. There was also a lovely view of Weymouth beach and the ocean.

The food. Omg. The food. The carbonara was incredible, such a beautifully creamy sauce accompanied by the chicken (which is the only negetive of this meal, it was slightly dry). The pancetta adds such a fantastic depth of texture, its slightly sweet taste mixed with the savoury spaghetti created a beautiful culmination of cullonary brilliance!

This absolute delicacy of a meal was like an escape from reality. There are many times while writing my food reviews where I struggle to find words which can fully articulate my experience. I can say without a doubt, the moment the spaghetti touched my tongue the review had already written itself in my mind.

The carbonara being a filling carbohydrate suited the portion size of the dish leaving me satisfied and not bloated.

when walking into the restaurant on our own. to then have one other table walk in 5 mins after they had there drinks order straight away awhile we were still waiting and no one had spoken to us which was not a great start so awhile we were still waiting there drinks came (no one had spoken to us) and they had orders taken right after drinks awhile we were sat waiting then awhile still waiting they had there food come and they started eating this was about 20 mins after they order once that table had there food did someone come over to take our drinks orders they came fairly quickly but the waiter and waitress both had there hands over the top of our glasses which maybe be a little thing but I don't want to be drinking from a glass with someone's hand around the top of it. then we had orders taken at about 6.30 we had to wait and 1 hour and 15 mins for our food to arrive which for 5 people and a steady restaurant was a long time then for our order to be wrong by having the wrong chips and only have 3 out of our 4 pizza to arrive was the greatest so we mentioned this to the staff and they apologized and went to sort it out this took another 20 mins and by this time the rest of the family had finished the pizza was okay wasn't the best we had ever had and probably one of the...
