Really pleasant staff, well-managed COVID response, and really yummy chips! The batter is gluten-free and vegan too!! I had a very nice pea fritter (I LOVE a great pea fritter) with crispy delicious batter, wasn't too greasy, and was nice and thick. The only problem is that the peas were minted 😢. They do a cute kid's meal served in a bucket with a spade which is nice as it's right on the beach. Chips were crispy, curry sauce isn't lumpy, all in all a solid four stars.

Fantastic Cod and chips, only £11 which is the best value I've found in weymouth. Light and crispy batter, not overly greasy and the chips were to die for. Had it with curry sauce, cheese and a gherkin for my birthday treat, what a combo, will definatly coming back! Also the handsome black-bearded man behind the counter was a great laugh and service impeccable, 5 stars all day long

Well where do I start first off they looked me in the eyes and charged me 3£ for a sausage that's about 4cm🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 then all of our chips weren't cooked properly soggy and not cooked all the way thru, my mates fish was 99% batter 1%fish and it was 9£!!!! The curry sauce is like jelly this is the worst fish shop I've been to

Me and my friends ate there yesterday and I'll leave for myself what was happening to me and one of my friend after this, we felt very very bad. Chips were uncooked. Fish was ok but the batter was extremely oily. I do not recommend this place. ** Well that tells a lot about you if you are using an offensive words to people. And you had to mistook us with someone else as we cleaned after we finished and none of us finished its food as the portions were huge which is a plus of your restaurant. I didn't mean to be rude or offensive, I'm just telling about our experience with your food. The chips were uncooked, soft and uncripsy. That's what I meant about the chips. Maybe you should teach your team how to fry them properly instead of offend people for a honest opinion. And if my friend and me got sick after this food that means something was wrong with this. A fish itself was very tasty. Good luck and please get some...

Only rating one star as I asked for 1 small portion of chips and one cheesy chips, waited for a ridiculous amount of time whilst they gave out people after us their massive orders and only did ours when I asked what the hold up was? I always check my food as I have coeliac disease which is why I thought I would be safe with chips... I was faced with 2 portions of cheesy chips and I could see the cheese had been mixed with flour to stop it sticking together... there was so much flour, my bf who did eat them said they were foul and ruined his lunch. I asked nicely straight away if they could swap it for normal chips like I asked for and was met with him slamming the box down and muttering to his colleague... he finally gave me another portion.... I normally don't review places but I felt I had to warn others... if you have any allergies or intolerances......

We had fish and chips here on our day in Weymouth. Was with my wife and 2 young children. We sat outside to have our food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They brought us out 2 high chairs for the boys and helped us to move some of the umbrellas so they were shaded from the sun. It was a very hot and busy day, but the food came out quickly and was delicious. In all honesty was perhaps some of the nicest fish and chips I have had in some time. The fish was tasty and the skin had been removed. The batter was perfectly crispy. Chips were great too. Would definitely come back here. The price is very...
