Another banging cafe in Brighton, with some of the best coffee beans if you are on the hunt. Speciality coffee made well, but the flavour and complexity of the coffee itself makes this place a gem. The vibes are always good, especially when the sun is out and people are fighting over a seat on the little benches out front - they are perfect for soaking in the sun and the huddle and bustle of Brighton on the weekend. Seating inside is a little more rustic, opting for a more mis-matched vintage style. It’s comfy and cosy, great for chilling. (Heads up, not really a cafe to work in though, there’s no wifi) The selection of cakes and bakes is not what Bond Street focuses on, but the addition of bite sized cakes to pair with the coffee is fab. Nothing stand out, but the perfect little sweet treat to complement a great cup of coffee. Try dunking! All in all, Bond Street has some of the best coffee in Brighton. Whether they make the best cup is down to preference I guess, but the beans - fab.

This coffee shop is fantastic!!! It’s located in the laines in Brighton. The style of coffee is really appealing to sit with friends with a good amount of space or if you wanted to read a book and relax on your own also. I was extremely impressed with the level of service and detail in which the staff are interested in what you’re doing in the day, really chatty and friendly towards you! The coffee was also really smooth and rich, you can also request syrup and they actually add it on the side instead of throwing in the coffee for you! Great selection/choice of food and drinks! Overall the whole experience was great, or work in central London and it’s reminds me of those cool coffee shops there, but this one is even better! 10/10 for me.

Best coffee shop in Brighton - certainly our favourite. Their approach to coffee is very proper, always a nice selection of blends, good variety, superb quality. Only have oat and pea milk which is great, no paper cups to go so environment friendly. DELICIOUS food - the chocolate and tahini cookie is the best, especially when warm and fresh!!!! Try it for sure! Amazing interior, LAPTOP-FREE - no laptops allowed at the front of the cafe and in the entire cafe on weekends. Very friendly staff and always lovely customer folk. Bonus points for great lighting in the toilet :)

Being generous as this was my first visit. Place seemed nice, however did not live up to expectations. They were out of cold brew, so we went for iced lattes. The drinks were tepid to luke warm instead of cold, very bitter and metallic, lacking in any positive taste or natural sweetness, which suggests a poorly made shot. I expect better from a independent coffee shop, especially with a chain on the same street that would have made me a similar tasting drink. Music was bass heavy and all in minor keys making for an opressive atmosphere.

On a positive it seems cool, the sofa was comfy and it was a good escape from the heat of the day. Drifting aroma of coffee was good, left me thinking ā€œwhy didn’t my coffee taste as good as that smellsā€. Staff seem lovely, and I’m sure they are more than capable. (On ordering I was offered a nice filter coffee instead of cold brew and I should have taken it)

I expect on a different day with a different order the experience might have been...

I gave this place the benefit of the doubt last time, but I can confidently say that the staff here are among the worst in Brighton. Whoever is in charge of recruitment at Bond St should seriously take a long look at themselves.

I ordered a dry cappuccino, which you would expect a ā€˜speciality’ coffee shop to be familiar with. When I complained about the drink not being right, I was met with an annoyed look and a comment from the barista along the lines of ā€˜I’ll try, but it’s hard to see in the dark.’ Frankly, their lighting problems aren’t my concern. When the drink was returned, it was essentially the same, with a token bit of extra froth. I couldn’t even be bothered to complain again.

Overall, a terrible experience. The staff are...
