After a Re-vist after being Told Sam was in the middle of his displinary and would most likely resign or be fired. I decided to pay this place another Visit, Lauren the new manageress is amazing knowledge about beers which is fantastic, so was Aaron and Dan where also polite which made my experience of this place a lot more refreshing. Then my last visit and would reccomend seeing anyone in the team, unless Sam stays on somehow, his knowledge on beer is very lackluster and has no care for the craft.

I've awaiting a message to say why my experience was bad at this venue and it has been sometime so I've decided to write it up.

visited the venue 6/3/22

I entered the venue to see a FoH greeter at the door, I stood there and asked where could I sit, the response was anywhere I then asked do I order at the bar or is it table service, the greeter looked confused by my question and said either. I was bewildered by the lack of acknowledgement I received from the greeter on the door to say the least.

so I went and sat down on a table and looked around the venue. It looked exactly how I would assume a brewdog venue to look in compared to other brewdogs I have gone to over the years. While I was awaiting this table service I looked over the beer list behind the bar and decided what I would have, some time passed around 3~4 mins and no member of staff had walked past I assumed they where busy and decided to go to the bar.

I walked to the bar and as I did I saw one girl tapping away I stood in front of her, and awaited being served while this was happening 2 guys where changing a beer on the back wall menu finishing off the words pale ale, which they did and came down to try the beer, while I was still awaiting service. The AM walked over and started talking to the guys and then himself tried the new line all while I was stood at the bar. I still wasn't even acknowledged to the fact she knew I was stood at the bar.

finally I got served the member of staff asked me what I would like and I said a 1/3rd of the vault city, she walked up and down the lines for sometime, unsure which line was correct, she then had to ask 2 members of staff as to which line she line is the vault city line.

Eventually my beer was served and paid for so I went and sat down and noticed that my beer was under-poured I was already annoyed by the serviced I was given in this venue so I didn't enjoy the beer and left quickly.

I may come back but I believe common customer service needs to be taught, I knew in advance the knowledge of the staff on beer would be low but wasn't expecting terrible...

  • Brewdog did not respond to the email they asked me to send despite the invite to discuss in their reply *

Ordered at 17:05, thinking this would leave us plenty of time to eat before the cinema, but the food arrived at 17:55 after we asked the waiter how much longer it was going to be. It wasn’t particularly busy and the two of us only ordered a burger each with dirty fries to share. We watched everyone around us receive their food when they arrived and ordered after us, with more people and more food.

When we finally received our food, we received the wrong order but now didn’t have time to ask for the correct order and wait another 50 minutes for it to be delivered. The dirty fries that we received (not the ones we ordered) had “chicken” on them that was squeaky and tasted “odd”. The burger might have been nice, too, if it didn’t contain more BBQ sauce than actual meat.

The toilets were also in poor condition with blocked sinks and what I hope to be water covering the floor.

We should have raised this a second time with the team on the day but due to having such a limited time to get to the cinema, we couldn’t.

We paid £52 for this “privilege”… definitely won’t be returning for another round...

BrewDog is always a reliable choice when it comes to great beer, and this location did not disappoint. Their selection is impressive, offering a fantastic variety that caters to every preference—whether you’re after a crisp lager, a bold IPA, or something experimental, there’s always something new to discover.

Since I was here for the beer, I decided to try some food as well. I had the Patriot Burger and Mac ‘n’ Cheese. The Mac ‘n’ Cheese was decent but nothing special—the sauce was creamy, but the green onion topping felt a bit out of place. A more complementary topping could have elevated the dish.

The Patriot Burger, however, was exceptional. The beef patty was cooked perfectly—juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavour. The combination of melted cheese, crispy bacon, and BBQ sauce brought everything together beautifully. The brioche bun was holding everything together without being too heavy. A genuinely top-tier burger.

Service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating when it came to modifications. They genuinely care about making sure you get exactly what you want, which is...

Brewdog Bournemouth is an absolute no-brainer if you're looking for a beer palace with a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. On our latest visit, we tried the pineapple cider, which was simply amazing—not too sweet and refreshingly unique. Despite it being a busy Friday night, we were lucky to snag a booth. The vibe was upbeat, but not too loud, which made it perfect for playing a few board games and having a conversation without shouting over the noise. One thing I really appreciate about Brewdog is the diverse menu that caters to everyone, including vegetarians and vegans. Out of curiosity, we tried the seitan wings, and they were surprisingly filling and tasted great, especially with the dips provided. Overall, Brewdog delivers on all fronts: great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and a wide range of food and drinks to choose from. It’s our go-to spot whenever we're in Bournemouth, and it never disappoints. Special shoutout to Sam, who took fantastic care of us—super friendly and made our experience even better. Can't wait to return!
