Usual quality of food and drinks - constant across the chain.
However there was a none English speaking gentleman in the queue behind me and they were a bit disrespectful when he didn't understand their questions, I understand this can be frustrating but the tack they took was not the right one. It was something along the lines of
Customer "3 Latte" (not sure what he ordered) Female Server "large or small?" (meaning serving size) Customer "Yes" Female Server ....."No, do you want large or small" Customer...Yes, Fellow male server "Aw just give him large" as the female server was waving the large mugs at him" Customer "yes 3"
Then the dark haired male server jokingly shouted out 3.30 to his colleagues and friend he was serving as a joke about the random answer the customer was giving and they all cracked out laughing at the customers expense. The customer was clearly puzzled and looked...

The staff arent chatty amd ALWAYS start serving the next person in the que and talking to them whilst still making my drink and before ive even paid! I could understand that this practice could save valuable time during busy periods yet they do it every time i go in, even if there is only 1 person behind in the que. Just think its a little rude and your made to feel they want you in and out asap. The Nero at at stephens couldnt be more different, the staff are always real friendly,chatty and yes ive seen them adopt the same practice here but only when its reallllly busy which in that case you dont mind, and they still continue to chat with you which is nice, the st steohens branch is defo much nicer...

Caffè Nero delivers exactly what you'd expect from a chain coffee shop: a reliable, no-frills experience. The décor and ambiance were standard for a Nero—comfortable enough for a quick coffee stop but nothing that stands out or feels particularly unique.
That said, the coffee was a pleasant surprise. It had actual depth and taste, standing out from the usual blandness you'd associate with chain cafes. It was refreshing to enjoy a cup that felt like some care had gone into its preparation.
