This place is dark and dingy with virtually unreadable menus. I was asked if I have any allergies and said yes to uncooked tomato seeds.
I was told by staff member that I can't have the baked beans as they may contain tomato seeds. I assured her that I would be fine with baked beans which are cooked, she argued with me twice, saying no I cannot have I then said I would leave. She took the order however when the food arrived there were no beans at all.
I said I ordered the beans and again I was told I can't have them so I said I didn't want the food, We got up and the result was that 20 minutes of my life was wasted on this place arguing with a rude staff member that tried to con me with a lesser meal.
The rule in this place is you must have what they give you rather than what you request, and if you refuse to eat the food then your the bad guy and need to pay regardless of not eating their food. In my opinion, this is disrespectful and very rude. I am not a child who can't way up a situation and decide for myself.
I suggest you describe your food properly and if there is a potential issue let your customer choose.

I didn't tell your waitress that I had a severe allergy. What I said was I have an allergy of raw tomato seeds. To describe baked beans, they are cooked and not raw. If you are giving raw foods for items that are supposed to be cooked, then you need reporting because your are creating an health risk.
The order was placed on the understanding that it included baked beans.
You were charging for a meal on the above understanding.
I did not eat the meal as it did not include what I asked for and would have paid for.
Just because you cooked something does not give you entitlement to payment when someone refuses your meal.
If you want to report it to the so-called relevant authorities as you claim, I suggest you tell them the truth.
Your staff were not listening to the customer. You did supply what was requested. The customer didn't want what was offered. The customer did not eat any of what you offered.
Your veiled threats are simply because I left a negative review of your business.
Two months later I am still waiting on the so called authorities to turn up.
If you want customers and for them to pay firstly I suggest that your staff listen to the customer and respect the customer decision 3 times you had a chance to fix it. However you chose threatening your customer instead.

Read moreSadly this place looks like they do amazing food but after trying 4 times and booking I have yet to experience any as we got there and they weren't doing food, then they were doing a themed evening so not doing food, then we got there and it was too early for food and freak shakes, then we booked thinking this would solve the problem only to get a message 45mins to the booking time saying they weren't doing food although we did get freak shakes which were nice.
