Located centrally on the prom with good sea views the Wild West Diner setting is fun and the decor is not overly done. Disability access does seem to be lacking however. There was a large step into the main building, seating at this level is available but the main restaurant has further steps to get down to the bar and eating area. Another door which seemed to be more street level access was available but was closed with a not in use sign. So I wouldn’t be able to recommend for disabled visitors without further enquiry.

The staff were good, however they did seem a bit miserable and could have been a little more welcoming.

Pricing wise it was a average for the average food that they served. I had the hotdog which was a huge portion, the quality of the hot dog was good (not the best but still better than others I have tried) on first tasting everything seemed really nice but after a few bites the whole meal was excessively salty, from the onions on the hotdog to the overly seasoned fries.

I can’t say it’s an authentic southern or western style food beyond serving hotdogs and burgers with some decorations around the place. The best part was the decent country music playing in the background. I’m not sure I’d go back but it’s worth a visit just for something different on the sea front.
