First, the service was impeccable, something that has to be highlighting in a great restaurant that makes an evening special. Pair that with great food and you have 2 solid reasons why you should go here haha! The pineapple pizza special was what drew me in, supporting local food banks too. Never did I expect pineapple to work so well on pizza, as someone who was undecided on Hawaiian. Spicy, sweet, salty and crispy, it worked so well with the cheese and they really have cracked it. Drinks were great too, as well as the ceaser salad which was the perfect addition to the meal - always with anchovies of course. I almost forgot, but the gelato and crust dips were insane as well. Highly recommend the cherry and choccy gelato and smoked garlic dip. Trust me! The service remained impeccable all night, giving me a great time and a night to remember. Value for money is insane for Brighton too, being stuffed for roughly £15 if the pizza does it for you. Get down here now, it’s fab!

We met friends here for dinner and it was amazing! The service was great, with enthusiastic waiters and food and drinks coming out quickly. Atmosphere was lovely, very chilled, and there was no rush to get us out when we finished eating, meaning we could talk for a long-time and catch up. The beer on tap was good, from the local UnBarred Brewery, and we shared baked gnocchi for starter. It was delicious, a little sweet, a bit salty, and super cheesy. Between us we ordered the Margherita, ‘Nduja, and Diavola pizzas. They were all delicious, well-cooked, and flavourful in their own way. For dessert, we had the gelato - pistachio, stracciatella, and strawberry - and the affogato. It was all great! Absolutely wonderful experience, highly recommend, and there are plenty of other locations to visit too!

I visited Fatto a Mano in Preston Circus for dinner recently, and had a spectacular meal out. First and foremost, the staff are absolutely wonderful. They’re friendly, attentive, and very accommodating - honestly they were all fantastic! The food was equally delicious. A few highlights include the incredible lasagne bites, which made lasagne even more delicious. Their special pineapple pizza was also absolutely sensational - it genuinely was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in years. I’d heard good things about Fatto a Mano, and the rumours are true - it is amazing!

We had lunch at Fatto a Mano on London Road over the August bank holiday weekend. Our experience was not positive.

After being seated, we ordered via their app (as instructed) and got olives and a pizza each. The olives were off-colour, speckly, and smelt and tasted like fish. The fishy odour was undeniable - at first we thought maybe they had been kept with anchovies as olives sometimes are, which grossed us out as we are vegetarian. Then we realised that actually it was much worse than that - the olives had just gone off and shouldn’t have been served to us at all!

We told the waitress who agreed with us and was very apologetic. She went to tell the manager who then came over to our table and told us we were wrong, there was no fishy smell, and the olives were fine. At this point, he had taken the olives away (presumably to hide the evidence) so we couldn’t even ask for a second opinion from someone else. We told him that we really didn’t think the olives were ok as they tasted and smelt so strongly of fish and we asked for a refund. He told us we couldn’t have a refund as we had ordered via their app so we ended up paying for rotten food that we didn’t even eat.

Overall, very poor customer service from the manager who was very stand-offish and rude. The pizzas were edible but very basic for the price we paid. We will not...

This place used to be cutting edge but over the last 12 months I’ve noticed rapid decline. After a long evening working, my partner decided to treat us to pizza, I let her choose and make the order ( big mistake)

Where do I begin... The tomato base was like Supermarket passata, there’s no depth to it, just a very basic tomato flavour reminiscent of tomatoe purée. The dough was raw in the center and totally soggy. The strangest part was the addition of soggy red bell peppers which were disproportionately loaded onto this mess, I guess to hide the lack of pepperoni or any other toppings. These peppers tasted metallic and bled into everything - really gross, reminded me of the taste of blood - it might be time to change the pans or treat the grill as it was disgusting and I have no idea how such an ‘irony’ taste made it into a pizza.

I’ll never go to this joint again as 4 hours after, and still now upon writing this, my colon has felt like it has had a corkscrew burrowing through it. Yesterday I had a slight fever and had to cancel a job as I couldn’t stand up straight for stomach cramps.

There’s always a honeymoon period with these kind of places and then the standards just fall off.

Just get a £5 freezer pizza from the coop instead of gambling with your...

This was my first trip to Fatto Mano and I just can't understand what the fuss is about. We ordered take away online which was easy and intuitive. However this was about as good as it gets. When I arrived no one paid me any attention, it was disorganised, the staff we're grumpy and obviously stressed. I was shoved out of the way (including others waiting) on a few occasions. I could see my pizzas waiting so I eventually spoke up. I was ignored first time, second time I was given evil glances but I persevered and eventually got a reaction from a moody waitress. I mentioned my name and she ignored me so I tried her again and that my pizzas were probably the ones waiting in the corner getting cold. Eventually, I did get my pizzas, thanked the grumpy waitress with a (non reciprocal) smile and left in haste. Food wise, the pizzas are awful! Undercooked bases with toppings just strewn all over haphazardly. Around 30% of the base is not covered in anything at all, which leaves you with way too much undercooked crust. The amount of topping is minimal and you are left with a cold (by the time you actually manage to get your pizza) unloved, undercooked, overpriced piece of dough. Won’t be going...
