I've been here before and it's been good but today was horrible. It was incredibly busy and a member of staff, a woman with a brown bob and glasses accused my daughter of being disruptive in a performance, in another room. She said she was runining it for the other children mortified I ran through and it wasn't my daughter. She didn't apologise. Then later my daughter came out of soft play to say her brother was running away from her and I went in to check on them a few minutes later and they were fine. Playing normally. Then the same woman came out and said that my children were "attacking each other". I said she had terrible customer service and she came across as incredibly judgmental. She said she was a mum too, I said even more reason to speak in a more empathetic way.
Also all in all, we spent £40 on entry to soft play, 2 flatbread pizzas came to £8 (they cost at max 50p to make), nothing on the side, a sandwich which wasn't nice and a bad oat flat white.
Not worth it for this stressful experience.
As a member of staff put their response bellow I will respond by saying I endured the bad tasting food and coffee because I don't actually like to cause a fuss, so when I say it's bad I really mean it. I have complained 1 time before in a restaurant in my life. The woman who accused my daughter of being disruptive, even though it was an entirely different child made a b line for me, the only person of colour in the room and when she accused my children of "attacking each other" she came straight for me again, no understanding in her manner, no "they were having a bit of rough and tumble" using the kind of language she used is inflammatory and any parent would want to defend their children. When I asked her why she was being so judgmental she could not defend her actions because she was totally lacking in empathy and professionalism. Do not waste your money, ESPECIALLY parents of colour, as your children could be accused of being children they...
Read moreCelebrated my little one’s 4th birthday in this brilliant venue. The staff from the taking enquiries to host the birthday party were very friendly, helpful and super flexible. The food served with waffles as a main course was great and kids loved it.
Bear in mind to allow time for decoration. Honestly it didn’t need much but enough to make the place look festive.
Amazing sound system for background music. Atmosphere was playful and relax, and parents were happily socialising.
Their entertainer’s recommendation were a life saver as we have used the magician David who was great (a separate review about him.
A part for the party jitter, organising their birthday was stress free. For ££ you have a venue, staff, food, party bags choice of entertainers. Overall in inexpensive, still the best money...
Read moreFinally Brighton has somewhere central to have a coffee while your kids play! Wrap was perfect for us to drop in when we were at a loose end and I wanted to give the kids a run around but didn’t fancy the park. Highlights for me included the really lovely interior that feels really contemporary and fresh, the choice of healthy snacks and lovely cakes with good vegan options. It was lovely meeting other mums in the soft play and taking all things toddler. I’ve met friends and actually drunk a whole cup of hot coffee (yeah- I know!!!) with a friend before being asked for snacks, and I’ve been on my own and got work done while my children (4 and 1) played next to me and I could easily keep an eye on them as it’s not too big to lose...
