Fine Eat Kitchen — Restaurant in England

Definitely not fine! Despite description, staff do not wear masks. One had her mask hanging below her nose. Another had no face covering at all, neither mask or clear shield. Both serving inside. Unsurprisingly no nhs covid app or any other signing in process. Cucumber in water (as automatically provided) always makes me feel ill so asked for an alternative jug of plain tap water. Small glass of hot water arrived. Returned it. Larger glass of water with ice (assume to cool the hot water which was 'from the tap!) arrived. Scrambled egg inedible and weird. Like a roughly chopped boiled egg in loads of melted butter. Spinach was similarly drenched in fat (and I usually love grease) and luke warm outside and warmer in middle. Both very unpleasant and could not eat. Tried and wished I hadn't as, 20 mins on, and for the next few hours, I felt very queasy. A shame as lovely cool secret garden venue and...

Eight of us booked the entire place for a Friday night dinner. What a treat it was to have an entire restaurant to ourselves. Giorgio had prepared the table - complete with candelabra - as if he were entertaining some old friends from Siciliy. Whilst his wife prepared the delicious food, he regaled us with delightful descriptions of the selections on the menu and, in particular, entertained us with stories of his visits to vineyards back home. What makes this place amazing. The service and friendly staff is by far non short of amazing. I have just moved away from the area and one thing I will certainly miss is grabbing my morning coffee and the small chat I got while waiting for it from the lovely person taking my order and making my latte. They make you feel so welcome and the food is unreal. L

Highly recommend anything off the menu it’s so tasty. I will be making the walk from the other side of town when I can just to grab a coffee and snack.
