They used to be good. I used to be a regular customer, until they messed up my order. I ordered two pizzas on offer at 21:31, after waiting an hour I called up them asking where my pizzas where and the guy over phone said they were delivered ages ago. I told them they haven't and he says if they weren't I wouldn't have waited two hours to call them to complain. Only an hour had passed. He said that they were delivered and that they are now closed. I told them no one had called my phone asking me to come down to collect the pizzas and that I was the only person here. They refused to let me go there to speak to them in person and ask for my money back, saying that they're closed and threatened to call the police. They were also too tired to come to my property to see for themselves.

Shocking service, avoid this place.

UPDATE: I get told to go there to see the manager the next day after 18:00. He's nowhere to be found apparently a sudden death in the family. I am then told to come back the next day. I come by again today to see the manager after they closed so they don't get embarrassed in front of customers. Still no refund because the delivery driver isn't on shift and how there was a change in drivers for my order. Still refuses to refund me £16.58 without getting permission from the owner. He took my number to call me to come tomorrow, maybe I'll get my refund maybe not, maybe the driver will get polio tomorrow and not be able to come in.

It's nice to see the owner replying to a bad review maybe you can come in on Thursday 10/12/2015 and...

I will totally admit that the pizza here is delicious and the vegan/veggie options are great, but the service is pretty awful. On our first trip there a friend of ours was waiting for his takeout and told us that his order had been incorrect, twice. We sat down for dinner and, whilst slow, it was eventually delicious. I must add though that when I said how good my pizza was the waiter looked surprised as, in his words, the vegan ham 'tastes like feet'. Marketing, am I right?!

Last night however we turned up at 8pm, sat down, an waited literally 25 minutes for anyone to take out drinks order and they eventually arrived a full 40 minutes after we arrived. After an hour and 10 minutes the couple next to us (who had ordered before we even sat down) got an explanation as to why their pizza was so late, and apparently ours was 'next in line'. Having sat down at 8pm we eventually got some food at just after 9.40. I did not get the pizza I ordered, but frankly I was so hungry I didn't care.

Whilst we did get a free bottle of wine (albeit accidentally as it turns out), we weren't told the reason for the delay for over an hour and if we had known we would have gone elsewhere. The food is great, can't fault that, but everything else seems a bit...

The pizza here is good but service was distinctly unpleasant.

I'm loathe to leave bad reviews for independent restaurants but I feel it warranted. I went here for my birthday meal, my partner ordered a pizza without cheese. She received a pizza with cheese but instead no tomato, which is no biggie, mistakes happen, but staff were unwilling to accept they made the mistake or that in fact anyone would want that (it's quite strange to have someone tell you you don't want what you want).

After much to and fro they agreed to bring her a cheeseless one, but at the end of the meal tried to charge us for both, then, after finally relenting to charge us just for the actually ordered pizza, proceeded to lecture our group about "not understanding how to order from a restaurant properly", which was... Bizarre.

Oddly, takeaway service here is fine and seems to be run by someone else, but I'd recommend against a...

I reviewed this place a year ago and gave 5 stars. Sadly my recent visit was very disappointing. The management has changed hands and it’s definitely gone down hill. Whilst the base of the pizza is good, the toppings were not. I ordered the pepperoni hot. It was neither spicy (despite the garnishing of fresh green chilli) nor was it hot in terms of temp. There was too much sauce and not enough N’Djua or pepperoni. It sat for a full five mins after coming out of the oven being dressed with chilli and marscapone and the 2nd one was cooking. The reason I go to a pizzeria is to enjoy the pizza as soon as it’s out of the oven, not when it cools. It also should have had hot honey added. We found none. Finally one pizza was round. The other was oval! If you seek good pizza. Pizza Pilgrims in central Brighton is the current tops.

In my humble opinion this great little cool restaurant has earnt “best Brighton pizza” in my books! It’s totally what you want from a pizza place, the staff are enthusiastic and very Italian making it feel like you’ve gone abroad! We have so many pizza places in Brighton but what I think makes this a little gem is its priced well the food is ultra fresh and authentic but coupled with the cool interior and great friendly service it’s becoming a weekly visit from me and my other half! Well done - I especially recommend the subergene side dish with a pizza! Buenissismo!

Had a meal here on our holiday, it was a fantastic place, bright fun decor with industrial, graffiti vibe. The pizza was so good, you can see it being made in the open kitchen, had Crodino to drink, which is Italy's most popular non alcoholic drink, very unusual taste, but very enjoyable. The staff were so friendly and lovely, made us feel very welcome, loved it here and would visit again on a return trip to Brighton
