Visited 23th August. Woeful COVID management. Tasty but expensive food.
COVID issues numerous: customers are queuing closely without face masks; no control of the amount of people let in and out; ineffective signage; very busy on the Saturday; 9/10 customers not wearing masks but this restaurant resembles a takeaway so youād have thought masks would be encouraged/used until customers are sat at tables; Hand sanitizer station ignored; hygiene of seating areas poor on the day I visited - tables left uncleared and therefore unsanitised; no tables and chairs removed to create spacing nor screening provided - you sit shoulder to shoulder with fellow customers; You are given a drinks cup to full with drink at a ācommunalā drinks dispenser with a touchscreen. NO contact tracing in place on the day I visited.
Theyāve taken more care to artfully stack sacks of spuds in the window and write on a black board which farmer they bought the spuds off than they have considering sufficient measures to put in place to ensure safe opening.
Basically this place was packed to the rafters.
Makes you wonder about food hygiene procedures when the place is so unprepared for trading during a pandemic.
Food tasty and freshly cooked. Lots of fries - far more than you can eat in fact. āFreeā refills on drinks.
Charges restaurant food prices but serves fast food....nice concept of choosing fillings for your burger. The ingredients used are quality. I think for this price Iād expect full table service and plates not wasteful packaging- a la Wimpy!
Iād eat there again when COVID is less of an issue but they seriously need to...

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff I have no words to explain the experience with Five guys for the first time we had this experience from the staff who was cooking and preparing the food for the customer. As my friend had ordered 1 sandwich and extra fries š it takes 30 mints to get the order. When there is no waiting for any customer. The staff intentionally didnāt prepare her order on time and they are doing gossip about her itās due to because she is from India. We have mentioned the time and order number and date everything in the picture. Please take appropriate actions towards your staff behaviour on customers.
My friends get her order after they service to 29 number and her order number was 21.
We are very disappointed with the services and the behaviour of the staff. Just because we paid money and we all are hungry we did said anything to the staff as they already doing gossiping about to give order to her or not.

This is unacceptable behaviour. The food is okay not bad we donāt complain about food but the behaviour was terrible. Donāt want to remember again.

The bacon cheese hot dog looked good on the menu, and thats where the illusion ended. It was well, burnt. The bacon was cremated, almost black and in bits. The hot dog was like rubber, like somebody was feeding me rubber hose in a bun, and the cheese was like a slice of melted kitchen lino, all inside a bun that resembled a lump of kids play-dough. The chips would have been really nice had it not been for the amount of salt on them, there was enough salt to melt the arctic circle, waaaay too much. The only good thing was the shake, nice, very nice, but not Ā£6 nice. All in all, Ā£60 spent and only the shakes were enjoyed. Avoid and buy yourself a BK or some street food, your wallet and your kidneys will thank you. Oh, and if you like the Crystal Maze youāll love the toilet experience.
