If you are particularly hungry or parched, probably best to avoid. After waiting for a substantial amount of time for a near empty cafe, what arrived in stages was far less than acceptable. The large tea was served in a small mug whereby the tide was out. When asking for more water, was advised they would fill up from the tap!?! The cappuccino was undrinkable, warm milk with chocolate power on top. The Victoria sponge had the incredible ability to be both dry and undercooked, an amazing achievement I must admit. The chocolate brownie however, was nothing short of barely held together dust, not to dissimilar to the Sahara desert. The mint hot chocolate took even longer to arrive and once it did it was hot dishwater at best, both colour and flavour left a lot to be desired. The Pepsi tasted like a panda pop. What took the longest however was two simple crumpets, which even when they arrived where uncooked on top and yet solid on the bottom :/ Lucky we had a toaster...

We always visit this cafe when we go on holiday to Paignton. We visited on our last day (29th Aug) for something to eat before we caught the train home. Food was fantastic and although we were warned we would have to wait 45mins due to being busy everything arrived within 20mins. Added bonus was the staff not minding my daughters tics, they instantly recognised she had tourettes and happily talked to her and treated her like any other customer. I bet we left them with some lasting memories though with some off her vocal tics. Thankyou for making my daughter feel welcomed. Fantastic food served by friendly staff. Always used this place for a breakfast as the food is good but after the last experience we won't return. Ordered one small and one large breakfast and being as there was only 6 people in the whole cafewas not surprised it didn't take long to arrive at our table started eating was all going well till a guy asked where is breakfast was and the waitress accused us of stealing his breakfast. Hold on you gave us 2 breakfast delivered to our table how can that be stealing when you have payed for it. The guy got a fefund and left and so did we right behind him. Never been so insulted. Need a few lessons in customer relation. Lost a sale there and lost anymore return...
