Garden Lane Pizza — Restaurant in England

It’s a shame because I have used Garden Lane Pizza for a couple of years now. The food is usually gorgeous and the staff are usually very friendly. I phoned just after midnight to order and my delivery arrived after an hour which is fine I don’t mind how long it takes. The nice delivery man phoned to say the delivery was on the bench because we have a mad dog. When we opened the food the first thing was cold so I checked everything else and they were also cold. I phoned Garden Lane Pizza and the nice man said that he knew I was a regular customer and that I could order the next day free of charge which I was happy with. I phoned before and the gentleman that answered asked if I had delivery through just eat? Which I hadn’t because I’d ordered through their own app. Then I was told there was nothing he could do!! I said about the man the night before and he said hang on and he very clearly was the same guy came on and said no there isn’t anything we can do! I said Thank you very much! then I won’t be using Garden Lane Pizza again. Massive shame but obviously they don’t need or care for...

Where do I begin... Ordered food on a Wednesday night for two people. I'm in disbelief about how poor the service was. I've never dealt with a more incompetent delivery driver.

We get a call from the delivery driver saying we didn't answer our door so he's driven off and we will have to go to the shop instead. During this phone call the driver made sure to pop to the petrol station as we hear him pay for fuel while trying to find out where he was. We had no knock at the door and we have two dogs so we'd definitely not miss it.

After coming to the conclusion he didn't go to the right address he said he'd be at ours in 6 minutes. After 10 minutes of waiting we called again...he went BACK to the wrong house again!

We decided to call the restaurant to figure out why they hired someone who doesn't know how to use Google Maps and they said they'd resend more food since our food would be cold.

Eventually we got our food but guess what? It was cold. I've never experienced anything so ridiculous and will never ever order...

Abusive manager. Made the order up to over £20 to get the free garlic bread, and order was delivered without it. Called garden lane, and was basically told in broken English I could barely understand where to go!

Manager ended up shouting I don’t care love, I just work here I don’t care.. your meals good value.. how much did you pay for kebab? That’s good value.. Why should I give you free food?

I said it does state on the website and just eat that if you spend £20 you get a free pizza or garlic bread. He carried on for ages and we never did get one delivered.

Food was pretty horrible anyway, so we didn’t particularly want anymore of it in the end anyway.

Fries were cold, tiniest sprinkle of cheese in the middle. Kebab was ok but missing one of the meats and had the wrong sauce on. Wrap was stale and dripped watery mayo when I picked it up so it was all soggy and inedible really.

Probably the worst takeout...
