time to STAY AWAY! Very Poor food! VERY BAD ATTITUDE TO CUSTOMERS! Just a local guy going into the pub for a burger...NEVER AGAIN!

Here is what happened... Ordered a Bouverie Burger with bacon, cheese, onion rings etc, which should have come with a beer included in the price. I was vharged for the Burger as well as charging for beer When it came it was a plain burger, so I mentioned it to the barman who said”I thought you said steak burger” No, I said the second one down on the menu, a bouverie burger, oh sorry, said the barman, no offer to change it. When I later asked if the manager was here, I was told no, I then said again that I ordered the bouverie burger (cheese,bacon etc) and at this point, probably to save his ass, the barman insisted that I asked for a steak burger. He also admitted he had charged for the beer which should have been included in the price. Later the barman kept me telling me I asked for steak burger, even though he first said, sorry I thought you said steak burger. Kinda proved that he’d changed his story when later he insisted I ordered steak. So it seems that I go to a pub, spend a tenner on a rubbish burger, which was not worth eating, only to waste my tenner and then have to go elsewhere for something to eat. As I was composing this review, and after telling the barman I was writing a review, he came back after 5 minutes to offer a refund, when I said I didn’t need a refund, just good service, and he could soon read this review, he became somewhat short and stormed off

Absolutely amazing place! Went for the first time with my Girlfriend; and what can I say apart from how amazed I am. My girlfriend is the pickiest eater and she ordered the Mexican Chicken Burger but asked for items removed and bacon on the side of the plate (so I could grab it for my meal!) and I ordered the Breakfast Burger, how it comes, and everything we requested was done with no hassle straight away. The food tasted absolutely delicious for both dishes, drinks reasonable prices and the staff member who served us was a really nice gent. Happy to help, have a laugh but also did everything he could to make our meal as good experience as possible. Definitely returning soon and can’t recommend enough! Really like this place. I used to go a lot years ago with work friends. Popped in today after work, only stayed for one drink, but was taken aback by the price - £4.45 for a pint of lager. I know a lot of pubs are struggling and have difficulty because of the competition from the main UK chain of pubs, but it seems a bit excessive. I have no complaints about the pub itself,...
