Menu is great decent little cafe, well that I thought, I've came 4 days on a trot, Ordered a chicken blt baguette and chips to takeaway, which has taken 25 mins so far and I'm still waiting I asked if they would add paprika to the chips, the server was told no he's not having paprika on the chips so I could over hear!! Felt this is rude in itself! Sorry this was my preference, could have just said he doesn't have the powder on site even if that's a white lie, no other cafe has denied me this, Im extremely disappointed & it's made me feel a worthless customer to you!! Walked in this morning, was asked “how many?” By a young lady to which I replied 3, had 3 menus shoved at us admittedly the lady was serving a table, as we were not told where to sit we proceeded up the slope where other people were sitting at tables. After quite a time, unusual as they are normally very quick to serve you a man came to clear the other now empty tables, he greeted us with who said you could sit there? It is a quite cute place with really lovely staff. But i think they have a miscommunication problem which effected my experience. I have lactos intolerance so I ordered a flatwhite with oat milk. But the coffee they served was prepared with whole dairy milk. I can tolarate it but i don't even want to think about what would happen if they do the same mistake for a vegan customer :) The coffee on the other hand was over extracted and bitter, but still drinkable.
