DISGUSTING! I love KFC but with the Cost of Living Crisis it’s a special treat! Tonight was “treat” night. Hubby placed the order (£28!,) with Uber and was given a delivery time of 7.05pm… we didn’t mind waiting for 15 - 20 minutes, KFC’s website said they weren’t too busy…. The time for delivery was put back to 7.20pm, then 7.40 and eventually arrived at 7.50pm. Absolutely stone cold! Item missing and definitely not £28 worth of food. Hubby contacted the store to say our meal was late, cold and asked for his missing item (a can of Tango) .. The person acknowledged that the item was missing because he was looking at it, where it had been placed in store and not collected by the delivery person. My hubby doesn’t lose his temper very often but the response he got from the “manager” was appalling! He wasn’t in the slightest bit bothered about sorting out our problems. He suggested my husband could walk into the store to collect his drink, when my hubby pointed out we were 3 miles away the guy said, well that’s the only option! He tried to blame Uber, saying we must have been more than one delivery and we must’ve been last on the list!.. when we pointed out that we’d tracked the driver from leaving the store to arriving at our address, we were the only delivery and the driver came straight to us… To say the “manager” was belligerent is an understatement, he was rude, dismissive and not in the least bit bothered that we were unhappy customers. I would not recommend this branch of KFC to a starving man!On principle alone I wouldn’t buy food from them to feed to my dogs! I took a temperature reading when the food eventually arrived and again after 30seconds in my microwave! I can’t find anywhere on this site to post the photo! Obviously KFC don’t like to give their customers the option of posting honest photos of their product! AVOID THIS STORE...
Read more...I've tried to like it here, but I just can't believe that each time I visit, something goes wrong...something is missed from the order, or incorrect - from a whole meal missing (too far to change by the time I'd got home) to forgotten drinks, and stupid stuff like; one one visit, 4 meals bought, and 3 clean up wipes (actually the best part of a KFC meal) dropped into the bag - and no serviettes etc.. can't these guys just pay a little more attention? Perhaps that's why it's 'finger lickin'good'? Perhaps someone wants to come and lick my car clean after the kids have eaten and have nothing to wipe their hands with! It doesn't mean the end of the world, but it really is sloppy and puts me off returning! Some of it isn't down to the staff, for example, the menu displays are clearly stacked to try and emphasize the more expensive options, instead of just displaying all of the choices.. I won't even mention the chips. Nobody I have spoken to, likes the chips! I'm not keen, either, but I'm not sure if it's because they're soggy or just tasteless - there to add perceived value to the rest of the meal, which in my opinion is overpriced, coming in at around a third more expensive than McDonald's. As a chef, I guess I shouldn't be going to these places, but, just like many of you, I'm sure, my kids just love it. On the plus side, I guess the Colonels recipe for the chicken's batter coating is pretty good, so at least that's still...

YOU WILL be fined if you enter the car park outside of KFC operating hours (there is no gate. if you enter to simply read the sign, you will be fined) ONLY 60 minutes free parking (used to be 90 minutes)
This car park is run by Civil Enforcement UK, which are notorious for their predatory practises, and KFC take a cut of their profits.
I got fined for overstaying (because they quietly lowered the limit from 90 to 60 minutes) and payed the £60 "reduced charge" for paying within 14 days. I'm privileged to afford to do so, but unfortunately Civil Enforcement UK will rake in cash from people who struggle to pay the reduced amount within 14 days, and therefore demand a full £100, or take them to court.
EV chargers (which are swiched on 24/7) are placed in the car park, but users will be fined if they enter the car park outside of KFC opening hours. HOW IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?
Sort it out KFC, you're setting yourself up for some seriously bad press here.
ORIGINAL REVIEW (that KFC responded to):
UPDATE (30/11/24): Parking reduced from 90 mins to 60 minutes. Take care if you're using the EV chargers. I received a £100 parking fine for staying in the car park for 1h 16m. Can you confirm that the parking sign does in fact...
