Honesty? Life changing experience. The best pub I have ever been to. The Maris & Otter sets the bar high and exceeds every expectation. Olly might just be the finest bar tender I’ve ever been served by, his proficiently and finesse behind the bar is only rivalled by his charming charisma and dashing looks. Marina does a smashing job, making the best cocktails you’ve ever had! Always made with passion and quickly!! Definitely ask for one of hers!! Alina creates breathtaking atmospheres within the community, running the Pub quiz and the Paint and social. Every event is beautifully marketed, signposted and decorated by her masterful artwork. The ship couldn’t run without the incredible manager Al, who pushes the pub forward with innovative ideas and an unmatched sense of team spirit....

Really disappointing experience today, popped in at 11.45am this morning and had a juice and latter with my daughter. Around 12.15pm we decided to have some lunch, however the barman (who was lovely and helpful, both were actually) said no lunches until 1pm - but as they were empty he asked the Chef. The Chef flatly refused to make a burger despite the fact there wasn't one other customer in the pub, nor did he look over and offer any kind of apology or reason - just incredibly poor customer service. I asked to settle the bill, clearly looking disappointed and waited 10 minutes as there were 3 staff on, half expecting someone to say "no problem, we can do this" but happily let us walk out of empty pub....

We went on a Monday night and the food service was very slow. I understand they bring food from the shop next door, thought it took very long for our order to arrive. The place doesn't provide any condiments either which we found out when asked for Ketchup to go with our chips. Drinks were decent, same as you would expect at any pub. There was a dessert menu placed on each table though upon enquiry we were informed that no deserts were available.There was only one staff member who was managing everything from taking orders to collecting food from the shop nearby and serving food to people's tables, though he did a good job of managing everything. I would only go here for drinks and avoid...
