Bland food and very overpriced, ribs ok, squid was flubbery but fresh, the tacos with salmon mix and mayo were grim only eatable after adding chilli sauce too, and two for 11 quid was a joke. Sake OK and had a beer. , 65 quid for one, is not good, won't return.

If you think One bottle 70cl of Sake for 18 x 4 is fair! Come on 72 quid... , indicative of food price... !

I went to you twice, as I was hungry..., re. the Chinese next door they may have been ok, but after finishing one pint and there not being internet, I asked them for your password, I needed to go. I also asked if they had started to cook my food at which point they said no.

I paid them for beer and said, I would return. The fact, there did not seem to be much cooking going on was a red flag to me and I did not have time.

Your concept is ok, but a bit of drift wood in comparison to London and it's my fault to draw comparisons, and I did give it a second chance but simply put it's not very good.

Seems you have a bee in your bonnet, re. Chinese food and cutting and pasting recurring theme, Only just started reviewing items.

Please don't make comparison between a Chinese directly next to your abode that may be ok, and fact you are trying the London street food tribe here in Blackpool, which I wish you luck with, but having seen it and spending money with you on separate occasions please have the grace to say thank you and good bye.

Else to many perhaps you may look a bit tribal and...

Quickly shown to our table and given menus, drinks order taken promptly and we ordered the oysters to start whilst we browsed the rest of the menu specifically the sushi side of the menu as that's what had attracted us to eat here.

Our passionfruit martinis were really good and the oysters were superb but after this it all went downhill.

We had to ask the waiter several times to take the rest of our food order we ordered the seabass sashimi and he told us it wasn't available so we opted for salmon sashimi instead.

After about 5 minutes the waiter informed us there was no salmon sashimi available either. I had to then go and find him and ask for the menu and to ask which of the sushi menu was available and it turned out no sushi was available the staff told us it was because the chef refused to order a full salmon that day...

We decided to cancel our order as really we'd only come for the sushi and requested the bill to pay for what we'd had so far.

When we got the bill there was a service charge automatically added which we had to ask to be removed as realistically we'd not really had great service.

All in all a really...

From the moment I stepped into Michael Wan’s Wok Inn, I was captivated by its vibrant, authentically Eastern atmosphere—warm lighting, elegant décor, and an inviting energy that promises a memorable dining experience. Having visited multiple times to ensure a fair assessment, I can confidently say this restaurant delivers on both flavour and value.

The early bird special is a standout deal: a starter and main course for just £20—a steal in today’s economy. While a 10% service charge is added, the efficient staff make it well worth it.

Now, the food: Overall, delicious. The dishes are packed with bold, authentic flavours, though I did find the vegetable pairings in certain meals, like the boneless chicken feet and ramen, which is a bit unconventional. While not unpleasant, they didn’t quite elevate the dish as hoped. A slight refinement in these combinations could take the meal from good to extraordinary.

With its excellent service, inviting ambience, and fantastic early bird deal, Michael Wan’s Wok Inn is a great choice for anyone craving quality Eastern cuisine. A few tweaks to the vegetable selections would make it...

Third time and it's always AMAZING!!! The food is FANTASTIC! The ramen soup is HUGE and SO tasty. My husband is far more adventurous and whereasI've had ramen soup twice and the Pad Thai once (both delicious) he's had 3 different things but I can only remember the katsu curry and a crab burger ( which came in this gorgeous light pocket thing). The staff are all so lovely: as of August 22 there's the loveliest Romanian couple (congrats on the arrival due soon!), a young lad who'd just started but you'd never have known as he was very confident, a young woman with a long ponytail (giving me hair envy 😆), and a tall young man who's been there every time we've gone this year and has the best manners with everyone 😊 You can see a bit of the kitchen at the back and the chefs are awesome, did I mention the food is AMAZING. Even if it wasn't I'd still go for the awesome decor - especially the loos; like a beautiful 20s french Chinoiserie boudoooooirrrrr! Honestly, if you want Asian food in Blackpool in the cutest quirkiest restaurant (I'll just say "cinema seats"!) served by with the nicest staff, you gotta go to the Wok Inn👍🏻😋❣️
