Took some people to York races and had a walk round York until hometime. All the pubs in the centre were heaving. On the way back to the course saw this was quiet so called in. Ordered a pint of Landlord which had just gone off. Can't recall the name of what replaced it but it was a well kept, very tasty dark ale. Asked for food but due to late time non available. Very pleasant young lady served me. TV with racing to watch and pleasant local drinking there as well. Bit pricey at over £4 a pint but it's York. On way back to course I recommended the pub to several racegoers who asked where they could get a good pint. Will visit again when...

Came here on the off chance, was feeling a little down because of the weather. But that mood soon paled from existence when I was greeted by the welcoming staff! Drinks are priced appropriately for the town centre and the CHIPOTLE LOADED CHIPS! WOW 😍😍😍 cooked to perfection and priced perfect for the town centre!

Lovely friendly pub...fantastic atmosphere. Nicole makes every single customer feel welcome as soon as they walk through the door. Also a great venue for parties. I booked a party here and the in-house catering was amazing...Lovely pizzas...and the resident DJ made it an amazing night. The live music nights are Brilliant...top place for a great night out.
