Sure! Here’s a polished and honest review you could post for *The Olive Tree* in Bude: --- **The Olive Tree – Bude** **** Popped in for a bite to eat and overall the food was good – tasty and well presented. The lattes were nice too, though they could definitely do with being a bit hotter. Service-wise, there’s some room for improvement. The wait staff didn’t seem all that enthusiastic or welcoming, and we weren’t asked if we’d like any more drinks during the meal. A bit more engagement would go a long way. The strangest part? How people don’t just walk out without paying is beyond me. I waited patiently at the table for someone to bring the bill, but in the end had to go up to the counter myself. Even then, the server walked off and I had to go inside and ask how to actually pay. A lovely spot with potential, but the customer service really needs tightening up.#BudeEats #CornwallCafes #FoodReview #TheOliveTreeBude #CoffeeLovers #ServiceMatters #BudeFoodie #HonestReview #LatteLife #CornwallDaysOut #SupportLocalBusinesses

Lovely place to stop for food! We sat outside and had an early dinner after a day at the beach, the weather was lovely and we sat outside. They were very busy and we were lucky to get a seat outside (although there are plenty) and although the staff were very busy serving everyone, food and drinks etc didn't take very long The food was exceptional - my partner has the vegan "fish" and chips and it was delicious! My pasta (forgotten the name) was incredible too and I rarely choose pasta when eating out but I'm so glad I did. Our waiter was so lovely and friendly too. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing!!! Seriously..... We popped in for lunch and were very surprised by the menu, some really quite different things; but in a really good way. A varied menu which should suit all dietary requirements. I opted for the Prawn, Garlic and Chilli Linguine, it was fantastic it’s one of my go to dishes when out and this was way above any I have had before from some really good Italians. Other dishes chosen by us were the cod goujons and Caesar salad. All were fantastic for this unassuming bistro in Bude. The service and staff were both fantastic too. Define my worth a visit.

My wife and I have been visiting Bude for many years and, for the past few, no visit was complete without a lunch at The Olive Tree - food has always been great, service prompt and efficient and the atmosphere friendly and cheerful - but, for some reason that seems to have changed - the waiter was surly and appeared to have no interest and even though it wasn't busy, it was a long wait for a ploughmans and a burger, which I must say was quite possibly the worst burger I've ever been served - For £14 i got some oven chips and a dry meat patty on an untoasted brioche bun - and that was it - no pickle, lettuce, sauce - nothing - it was truly inedible - I asked if there was any sauce or pickle and was told that would cost an extra £4.00!!! - Honestly? - I wish I'd gone to a burger van - at least I would have been offered onions and some sauce - and for less than half the price. My wife, who had always been a fan of the ploughmans, said it was much smaller than she was used to, with a couple of lettuce leaves (salad) and the tiniest amount of chutney - I'm talking half a teaspoon. I half expect this sort of thing at the end of the season, but not before it's even kicked off. Sorry - but we wont be back...

Fantastic service from polite and helpful staff, can not fault this establish at all. They serve a varied menu catering for all dietary requirements, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

The only bitter part of our visit was how a gentleman came over and spoke to a family who were on a neighbouring table, I personally felt embarrassed for the family as they were enjoying drinks with their young children and he did no more than try to embarrass them for their children eating ice-cream (it seems from a competitor) whilst they were enjoying drinks purchased from The Olive Tree. It is my belief that the gentleman has no authority to speak to the customers as he is separate business to The Olive Tree and I will ensure when I want an ice cream in future I will go to the parlour further down (they have much better options anyway) so much for supporting all local businesses, this very rude man will no longer be getting my custom or that of my family and friends...

But thank you to The Olive Tree for making the bitter taste of this visit disappear with the tastiness of their...
