We had one of the worst experiences at Prezzo (Windsor) on May 17th for food and service. We go regularly to many Prezzo branches in London but never had such a terrible experience at any Prezzo branch! Customer service is so important, we go to the restaurant to have a peaceful time, enjoying meal with friends and family. Unfortunately, our experience at this branch was completely different. When the food arrived two pizza plates were burned in the bottom and although we accepted them, showed them to one of the waitresses and she said will talk to the manager but nothing happened, then we asked the other waitress and she said the same and nothing happened again, we just ignored although even didn’t receive proper apology from them! Then ordered dessert and hot drink, it took a long time to be served, since one of our friends needed to leave earlier we asked just to bring his coffee earlier but again it took a long time and caused some criticism from us. Then we asked for bill and like many other Prezzo branches that we have used our Taste Card before, we showed it but the waitress didn’t accept and asked for Prezzo QR code, that there was no reception for Internet at that time and she didn’t help to sort it out, finally after a while someone came and introduced himself as the manager (the person that we asked several times to talk about the burnt food), he started to accuse us that we sweared his staff which was a lie, we just complained for the poor service, then in a very insulting behaviour he said you don’t need to pay, just leave the restaurant!! This behaviour was so insulting, we are not beggars, we are customers that expected to receive good and and instead to pay!! Fortunately, during this time the app resed and we got the QR code and paid the bill by Taste Card, but this was our worst experience in any restaurant!! We definitely will not back to this branch although we will continue to other branches of Prezzo, since we always had a good experience in other branches. First of all, if it is a Saturday night and you are anticipating the restaurant will be busy - GET MORE STAFF!! We made a reservation and waited almost 45 mins before our food and drinks orders were taken. For your staff - the drinks order is taken first! Once the food order was taken and CONFIRMED, we waited... and waited... and waited some more! By the time our starters had come out we had been sitting in the restaurant for about an hour and a half, and guess what... the order came out WRONG!! Just as it did with the drinks order AND AGAIN with the mains! The main meals came out after we had been sat in the restaurant for almost 3 HOURS!! We had a child with us who was made to wait for her food, even though she had told the staff that she was HUNGRY - TWICE! Shame on you for making a hungry child starve!! In addition to this we had several diabetics with us and God only know what would have happened if their sugars dropped - in my opinion I don't think the staff would have made any extra effort!! The amount of time spent at this restaurant made us cancel the rest of our plans for the evening as we had run out of time. To summarise, the service is ridiculously SLOW!! The staff levels are INADEQUATE! The staff displayed no basic signs of customer service, and when these points were raised to the person in charge, they clearly DO NOT CARE!!! Dinner with the family was RUINED and personally this was EMBARRASSING for me as this was the first time I had decided to take my in-laws out for dinner in Windsor. Read moreWe used to have a really good Prezzo in shepperton so when we got a buy a gift token we decided to book a Prezzo restaurant. The Prezzo in Windsor couldn’t have been more different. When we arrived it was dirty including uncleared and dirty tables. We waited about ten minutes then, as nobody greeted us we went to ask the barman for help. He clearly didn’t know there was a booking. He gave us menus and we waited at table for it to cleaned. Eventually someone came to see us and we ordered drinks. They did not arrive. Eventually a different person arrived and on leading we had a buy a gift token took away the menus we had been given and brought a very limited menu instead. By this time we had of course decided what we would like on the menu originally given so felt very disappointed with what our choice now was. Our drinks still hadn’t arrived and we had to order for a second time. The food was ok “unremarkable” certainly not the standard we were used to at the Shepperton restaurant with which we were familiar. Later someone cleaned the floors around us while we were still eating. While the floors were very dirty it gave the impression that they were hoping we would leave. Actually we couldn’t wait to get out. I shall not be able to tell the person who gave us the gift we had a nice evening to be honest. I doubt we would book a Prezzo restaurant again.
