Station Blackpool — Restaurant in England

It's almost there, but just fails on some finer points. Prices seem to fluctuate wildly without any rhyme or reason. Sunday. £5.40 for a pale ale. Another day its just under 5.

Live football and sports showing, but don't consider this a dedicated sports bar. At times there is live football on, but music blaring over it. A fair few screens to watch on, so if its a big match you'll probably have the sound on and have sight of a screen somewhere.

Music can be ridiculously loud, again, Sunday nights when there are less than 20 people in the pub, and yet an off mix of everything from The Prodigy to rock being played at full blast in the back. Odd.

Dart board that's well kept, probably as I've seen competitions on it.

Service is OK, if a little cold at times. Landlord needs to bar some more people a keep a closer eye on who's frequenting. Been offered drugs here and have seen all kinds of characters loitering but not buying drinks.

Came to this bar tonight. I was refused a drink because I didn't have I.D. I'm 33 years of age. Having eye wrinkles is normally a giveaway for me, I don't regularly encounter this situation but... I was denied 🤷 I showed the bartender a photo of my passport which made zero difference because she could already clearly see I wasn't 17 or younger, any validation to prove this wouldn't have mattered. The staff, today in this incident, and in my opinion, just wanted to be awkward or feel a sense of power. We went further up the road towards the station after this encounter and ended up having a brilliant night in a more friendly, fun and welcoming bar. Blessing...

I have to say I loved this place. Its like an old school pub - how they used to be. Nice comfy big seats, nice friendly atmosphere and a big range of different ciders and beers. The young girl behind the bar was always happy and cheerful, and a pleasure to speak to. She also mentioned that as they don't sell food, you are more than welcome to bring in your own - including takeaways and eat them at the table. We thoroughly enjoyed stopping in this pub fir a few pints and would recommend it to anyone - especially as the drinks are really nice and...
