Popped in here today on my lunch break while working in the fulford area, pulled pork sandwich was unreal. Owner kindly allowed me to type up some work whilst eating lunch & enjoying a pot of Yorkshire tea ☕️ he even asked me for any music requests I had which I thought was just so lovely. Dropped in here for an early breakfast on a Saturday morning when very few other places were open.

I had the potato and chorizo hash with a cold drink.

The food was fantastic. Really interesting and creative dish, extremely tasty and well balanced flavours.

Clearly popular with locals/regulars coming in for pre-ordered items while I sat in the cafe, which is also a good sign.

Friendly service and welcome from the staff as well.

My Vegetarian partner and I had breakfast here this morning. We both ordered the full breakfast (1 veggie obvs) and 2 teas. The food and service were bang on with quality and taste as well as good value for money, staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We are visiting York for the weekend and had come here after reading previous reviews. Hoping there open tomorrow as the breakfast really set us up...
