The Coffee Station — Restaurant in England

Extremely unprofessional personnel working here. This place would still maintain its quirk if its success hadn’t gone way over their head. I walked past the coffee shop and two ladies sat outside somehow assumed I was going to go in and spoil their compulsive smoking break and told me the place wasn’t opening for another half an hour when I wasn’t even going to go in. If that hadn’t been enough display of bad taste, entitledness, and very poor manners, when I responded” I know” the two ladies who are supposed to be running this place, started laughing behind my back . Totally appalling that 1) they are chain smoking just in front of a children’s playground 2) they make assumptions that people can’t live without their services ( I assure you, the coffee you make there doesn’t even get to the level of dirty water) and 3) they are so unprofessional. Please...

Thanks Coffee Station for your 1st year birthday party last evening. How thoughtful to have done a party for your customers. The homemade spread you presented (vegan & vegetarian) was delicious. Those vegan sausage rolls, you need to make more and that enormous birthday cake wonderful. And to raise money for MIND very thoughtful. The Chilled atmosphere great and dogs get treats too and don't they know it. Good luck in your next year . Oh and when's the next Chilli night Bridie your vegan chilli and Amy's vegan enchiladas the best. Shame you can't sell icecream but I understand that was part of your agreement , but then the icecream van can't sell drinks so keeps everyone happy....

Lovely little cafe in the park, which we happened upon whilst out for a walk on a visit to Taunton. The selection of home baked cakes looked incredible, we persuaded ourselves - easily done - to cut our walk short and stop for a large piece of tiffin cake, a latte, and a herbal tea.... delicious and served with a smile. The board says they do smoothies and lots of other hot and cold drinks as well as savoury snacks but had none left by the time we got there this afternoon.... just going to have to go back tomorrow to try...
