let me put it this way, I went to Street with my wife yesterday and bought two watches, one for myself and one for the wife, she suffers with dementia and it is our 35 wedding ann on Friday so thought it would be nice to spend a little money in Hinds, as this Street village tends to give good discounts, however I did spend £246.50. At the shop I had to arrange for one of the links on my watch to be removed, which was done and I walked away happy. That was until we got home, the wife wanted to wear her watch so I put it on her wrist, then I decided to wear my own, however half way through the evening the watch fell onto the sofa, the pin had come out, I found the pin on the sofa and put it back in again, only for it to come out again this morning, and the pin was lost. I rang the Taunton store and they asked me to come in with the watch which I did, they had to use the spare pin, and it is hoped that all will now be well, at the time I was also told to leave the watch in the window for 24 hours to get it fully charged, as it is Eco drive, something the staff at Street did not tell me. So in all honestly, I am not very happy with your team at Street Village, if I had decided to wear that watch when I bought it at the store it could well have come off while walking back to my car, and I would have never found it and would now be £189 worse off. So I cannot give your Street Village staff any stars, but the Taunton staff get my full backing and in future, I will be more than happy to use the Taunton store again but Street Village, sorry, once bitten twice shy. Brought in the ring size required, picked the ring we liked, made sure I asked that the ring in the shop which was currently too large, could be amended or changed to correct size, was told definitively yes, yet when I returned to have this carried out, it wasn't possible.
I then had to pick another similar ring for MORE money, and then this really wasn't as good as the first ring I chose, so we opted for a refund.
Due to my shifts I had to send my fiancé back to return the ring and get a refund, and I expressed my permission to the shop, gave fiancé the receipt and she naturally had the ring, and this was refused.
Claims of GDPR were made, yet it is putting money back INTO THE EXACT ACCOUNT WITH THE SAME CARD, FOLLOWING EXPRESS PERMISSION VIA MYSELF TO ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN. The manager has dragged her heels and made unnecessary delays when it should be the very least she could do to attempt to improve an experience they have ruined, by false advertising and lack of care or consideration, we still haven't received our refund to then allow us to purchase a ring which actually can fit.

I tried to view them but the display was under a shelf and without bending right down was very difficult for me to see. When I asked to see several the assistant made me feel extremely uncomfortable gathering them all up and taking them in the back room obviously thinking I was about to walk out with them. I have shopped here before when buying presents but please leave an assistant in the shop rather than gather up everything on the counter not even leaving you anything to compare.
