The Cow Shed — Restaurant in England

FOOD TO DIE FOR. If you have been removed of your sense of humor then I suggest that you find another place to eat. However, If your IQ has managed to surpass double digits (And your dad is not your uncle) and you want some wonderful food then this is the place for you!. The best dry witty banter, along with the most amazing steak I have ever had. Warm friendly staff and a hilarious manager, I could have told this guy to Fu$k off and die and he would have come back with a punch line.

If I had to choose a last meal it would be there home made cheese cake!, OMG I was just waiting for the contract with the Devil to come out after it, (Sir we forgot this!!!!!! Stop eating!!!!).

Over the years I have been to many restaurant in Brixham and this is the first positive review I have ever done anywhere in the UK. The manager made such a positive impression on me I just felt the need to do so.

The only criticism I would have is that the plates were to small as my pile of food kept falling off, Even then I did not finish the lot as there was too much...

I would like to give this establishment a big fat ZERO, We didn't even get to eat. We prebooked 6 weeks ago for 8. Arrived on holiday and called them. I was spoken too by the manager, who was jumped up rude, arrogant and insulting, for no reason at all. Other family alao called to confirm booking and received the same disgusting behaviour. So I called back to check the situation and in disbelief he'd cancelled the booking. Quite frankly relieved we didn't actually eat there in hindsight. I have never been spoken too by a restaurant owner let alone a jumped up angry man.. and his wife like that not that I was intimidated any way , Unsurprisingly the restaurant was empty night before. Avoid Avoid Avoid the jokes on him lost out on a lot of money today, how the business makes any money god only knows. Terrible owner, terrible attitude terrible little business. Have you seen the replies this little man gives to people who give truthful reviews??. He obviously gets his thrills in trying to upset people....

It's not about the food. I read you reviews about food book several weeks in advance. But food is really good but on entry to the restaurant was requested to sign on the NHS app which I had but my husband didn't. The owner told use he had to sign because Devon have covid police giving out fines. So he had sign on paper not problem but on the sheet was 12 other people details address phone number email etc. (scam heaven). So we are all very aware of people taking money from banks etc but the cow shed are just giving it away. Over the time we are in the restaurant 3 couple walk like me and my husband it the own doesn't ask us to scan app or put data on the list

Me and Dan love good food and drink but the experience that makes a meal nights was poor.
