Very much a Green King pub, so hearty British menu and plenty of beers on tap. Good location and nice on a summer evening. Clean and well maintained - with lots of pleasent people around. It does have this claim that the establishment or building dates back to the very specific '1510'. The building could be quite old, but the likliehood of it being a public house anywhere near this date is questionable for a city like Brighton... but I am not sure it specifically claims it has been a pub for all it's history

Myself and my friend decided to try The Druid Arms tonight!!! The music selection was top notch and the staff were attentive, ensuring we were having a good time!! In the future I would like to come back on a wednesday for an open mic night as that sounds like a lot of fun!! This Venue is a lovely with customers coming in steady flows (in my experience trying this venue on a monday!!) Thank you guys for making tonight great!! I'll be back shortly!!!

The Druids is a proper chilled out pub. The opening times are great as well. Even on a Sunday you can enjoy your beer when all the other pubs around are closed. The crowds are quite mixed. You will get students as well as older people. You can also dare playing the piano if you are brave enough. And, it is the pub I choose when I do not have made up on. It does not matter. Just enjoy your time in this lovely, folksy pub!

Arrived at 7pm with my boyfriend for a quick bite before meeting friends. Seemed alright, atmosphere ok. ordered two mains and 2 sides.

it got to about 8pm when the bar man asked if we had eaten. we said no. It turned out the order had not been put through. Annoying, but fair enough, these things happen. We were given a free drink each.

Finally at about 8.30 the food arrived. We were starving. It looked unappetising, brisket looked like school dinner beef, stone cold. ribs were peculiar and hard, fried chicken was burnt. they told us at the table as the food arrived that they actually didnt have any onion strips, did we want something else on the side? no, not really. They forgot to bring the sauces we had ordered. The chef apologised about the wait.

We took out first bite. after waiting for so long it was just the most absolutely disappointing meal ever. The chef asked if it was ok and we said, honestly, no. We asked for our money back. He got in a huff and stormed off. the next thing we knew, a waitress was taking the plates away from under our noses. In all honesty we were going to pick at a few chips before we left, but this was not allowed.

Do...

Tricky place, when busy... Especially the loo's!! Very comfortable out of peak hours, and, a nice, cosy pub to spend a few hours!! Sports on TV, pool table, friendly atmosphere! Bottom of Ditchling road/Baker Street. Good range of lagers+cider, but, not much on offer, if your a real ale man/lady/alt'.!! Jolly place to nip into, if you're shopping in London Road, or, down by the level. Dartboard too, but, too close to the entrance! £4 a pint... Not too bad for the location!! Well worth a visit, though, the gents loo could do with a lock on the door!!? 🤣🔒🚪Don't let the petty criticisms put you off... I still enjoyed...

Was walking to the station when we passed by to see their '3 shots for £10' promo. We were there early evening so unsure if it was open or not, and tried opening the door to see it was shut. I was shy to disturb to be honest but the person inside came over and called us back to say they just opened!! Was a super sweet person with great knowledge of alcohol and liquers. As we were the only people there we had a really nice chat with the guy and even let us try a beer. Totally worth missing the earlier train and what a nice way to end our trip to Brighton (of course, with our tuaca...
