The Falcon — Restaurant in England

Arrived towards the end of light after a day's walking around the island. The pubs is almost a like a little house on the suburban corner, but with the lights and signs you can't miss it although it is a bit further out of Ryde than we would have usually have walked to. The barman was friendly and soon had our thirsts on the way to being quenched. Sort of front bar/back bar type of set up with plenty of room to move. There is also a substantial outdoor are out the back - must be fantastic in summer! Nice friendly locals mad the trip complete. They didn't have ales on draught when we were there, but the Guinness...

Good for the sport. Not really family friendly - garden had patchy grass and a patonque area with not much room to run around. Wine glass was filthy, replacement not much better but barman was very apologetic. Heard they sold food here but saw no menus and probably wouldn't want to eat there anyway. Dated decor. Could be much better with a little bit of investment and fresher...

Sorry must of given you 1 star by accident . No loved the place , very good atmosphere . Staff were awsome and very helpful . I think the weather made it as we sat out side . Very good bands playing , definitely go back again . Didn't have food so...
