A real gem that is a little off the beaten track for day visitors to Ryde - So worth the diversion

We have not long been living in Ryde but No64 has fast become a favourite. The team here are superb, so friendly and welcoming, they have made us feel like we have always been here. The food is very good and great value, tasty coffee too. Hot food will often be delivered to your table by the chef himself and he obviously takes a great pride in what he does. The interior of this place is informal and quite quirky, which makes a change from a lot of cafes and restaurants.

If they have any left, try one of the sausage rolls on top of the counter, preferably warmed up. These are the very best we have ever tasted. This is just a little off the beaten track that is trodden by day visitors to Ryde, but is so worth the diversion. As you head up Union Street, take a left at the top by the 3 Zebra crossings, No64 is a few paces along on the right.

Oh, almost forgot to say that there is also a fantastic view across the...

After climbing up the hill from the esplanade my 84 yr old father in laws mobility scooter battery had given up, so we popped in for some brunch & hopefully find somewhere to plug in the (compact) battery as it separates from the scooter which we'd left outside.. There was clearly plug sockets available, one was powering a lamp next to the table we occupied, but we were told we couldn't use it & that everything had to remain plugged in.. weve never been told this anywhere else before in the 6 or 7 years he has had mobility issues, so unfortunately we had to carefully push him all the way back to the car afterwards.. Shame really as would've given 5 stars as food & service was great Maybe need to review their policies on customers using power outlets, i get not wanting people to hang around all day using laptops but leaving an elderly person stranded...

First things first, I'd give more stars if I could. The service here is exceptional and seems very personal. The staff are incredible and a good laugh, and are warm and welcoming. There are always the same faces in there (my missus is one of them) which is great as it shows that it's good enough for people to want to keep coming back (I can clarify that it totally is!!) The coffee is very good and the food come out incredibly quickly. Though my picture does the food no justice, it is incredible. The specials are changed really regularly and are always delicious and adventurous which is good to see. One thing I will say is get there early as it fills up quickly. This place definitely deserves it's number one stays on trip advisor as best place to eat in Ryde and I copy those...

Saw the good reviews on this place and we decided to have breakfast there before we headed home after our IOW trip. They were busy but they fit us in at the front and from my seat, the view was stunning. Coffees amazing and the food is high quality & very reasonably priced. I had the omelette (feta and cherry tomato) and it was the best omelette I have ever had! My partner had the breakfast which he enjoyed. The staff are lovely & welcoming. It's not the biggest venue so I would recommend booking a table, which I will do next time!

The restaurant was so close to where we were staying, our party of eight decided to pay a visit for lunch. We were not disappointed. Almost every one of us ordered something different and all of us felt satisfied with what we had. It's a small restaurant--a corner shop--a delectable little place with pleasant staff and reasonable prices. If I visit the Isle of Wight again, I will definitely pay a visit. Visitez-le, vous serez peut-être ravi.
