A real gem that is a little off the beaten track for day visitors to Ryde - So worth the diversion
We have not long been living in Ryde but No64 has fast become a favourite. The team here are superb, so friendly and welcoming, they have made us feel like we have always been here. The food is very good and great value, tasty coffee too. Hot food will often be delivered to your table by the chef himself and he obviously takes a great pride in what he does. The interior of this place is informal and quite quirky, which makes a change from a lot of cafes and restaurants.
If they have any left, try one of the sausage rolls on top of the counter, preferably warmed up. These are the very best we have ever tasted. This is just a little off the beaten track that is trodden by day visitors to Ryde, but is so worth the diversion. Shame really as would've given 5 stars as food & service was great Maybe need to review their policies on customers using power outlets, i get not wanting people to hang around all day using laptops but leaving an elderly person stranded...
Read moreFirst things first, I'd give more stars if I could. The service here is exceptional and seems very personal. The staff are incredible and a good laugh, and are warm and welcoming. There are always the same faces in there (my missus is one of them) which is great as it shows that it's good enough for people to want to keep coming back (I can clarify that it totally is!!) The coffee is very good and the food come out incredibly quickly. Though my picture does the food no justice, it is incredible. The specials are changed really regularly and are always delicious and adventurous which is good to see. One thing I will say is get there early as it fills up quickly. This place definitely deserves it's number one stays on trip advisor as best place to eat in Ryde and I copy those...
