Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I woke up in the early Saturday morning dying for a coffee . I checked my Google map and I saw Costa some 10 min walk from my hotel . I was nicely surprised how sweet this shop was . I'm from London , and I know how Costa coffee shops looks like but here in Ryde , I liked it better and I found it to have some regional touch on the top of standard franchise look . Latte was excellent so was croissant . You can have it with butter and jam if you prefer to doing yourself and that was cool ☺️ . I came in with 3 other adults and 3 small children. The kids ran up to me in the queue then a staff member with orange hair and an Eastern European accent came over and gave me a horrible look and shouted. “Kids are not allowed to run here keep them in control”. Then proceeded to talk loudly to another staff member about our children. Disgusting customer service and after 15 years I will NOT be returning. If you do not like children or adults or customers. Don’t work in catering and hospitality environment. This woman should be sacked....

Nice coffee shop open early, helpful staff, good place to work, read or chat, as music kept down to a quietly healthy level.

Coffee as per, and the toasted cheese looked good, and arrived promptly for the guest seated next to my table who ordered it. Appreciative noises were made, conclude it was good.
