French Franks — Restaurant in England

I asked for tuna mayo, cheese, coleslaw with some salad and onion. As you can see from the photo below so little tuna that you can barely see it or taste it for the matter. There wasn’t much in the way of cheese or coleslaw either. I was very disappointed after spending over £5 on a baguette. I left thinking that I will just make it at home. This has happened so many times now that I am considering going elsewhere - after 8 or more times, I thought that’s it I’m writing a review ( it is the same at the Newport one). You get the odd staff member putting a nice lot of filling in but most don’t now - so why not train them all the same?! I know that someone reviewed about the lack of filling a month ago so I simply cannot understand why this wasn’t rectified then - I don’t like giving poor reviews as I know how tough business can be, but when people are spending a lot of money this is not acceptable for the price that is charged. You responded to them to ask for more - you should train your staff to put more in please and not put the embarrassment onto customers. Not so much choice either.

I also can’t understand why it is not dog friendly - you won’t even let people queue up with their dogs to pay. Not really fitting with what people...

Ryde french franks what an absolute joke I enjoy a french franks for lunch in the newport one and cowes is excellent staff always good and fast service never there for linger than 10 mins I've just had enigh of standing in the ryde one for over 45 mins using up all my lunch just to end up when I'm back to not have nothing what I asked for in the baguette what a wast one money this is every time I go into the ryde one I'm there for nearly an hour and the baguettes are never what I ask it would probably be quicker to go to Newport one to get lunch just avoided the ryde one staff are all...

Quite simply the best baguettes I have ever had! On discovering that the Ryde Travelodge didn't do hot breakfasts, we first went to get some baguettes for breakfast on day 1 and then have ended up getting breakfast and lunch from there almost every day. Staff are brilliant and have been really helpful with our big orders. Good vegan selection/ vegan alternatives and everything is amazing value for money. I recommend the Tricolore or prawn with olives, cucumber and onions. Stunning!!! Will certainly be back when we visit...
