The Mermaid — Restaurant in England

My husband and I were on a Devon break for a few days and walked by The Mermaid. I was drawn in by the gorgeous decor! Jelly fish light shades, glass panels filled with bubbling water that was lit up with colour changing lights and other sets of lights. It was really striking. The man who served me at the bar was really helpful and friendly. He put one of the light displays on for me to watch. We sat on the sofas at the front where the huge doors were open so we got lots of fresh air and a great view of Brixham harbour. Had a lovely afternoon to be ruined by last drink ask for 2 pina Calada cocktail and to be served 1 full class and half on other one I said why i said wasn't happy he said mesament wasnt true.i said how can I pay for 2 full drinks but pay for 1and half drinks he said cause mesgsaments I said why can't do each one separately didi in end but made feel awgward chuck way started again and didnt look happy so...

Shame I can't give zero stars. We were a group of girls on a birthday night out..... honestly we were annoying 🙄 tipsy and a bit over the top, requestsing songs and may have let off a confetti bomb..... anyway we were drinking cocktails, which were very nice, sat around a table chatting and one of the staff came over and gave us a dog treat, insinuating that we were indeed dogs!! Not impressed. Will never go...
