The Old Forge — Restaurant in England

What an amazing spot. We stayed close by for a weekend and decided to eat in The Old Forge. We booked ahead for a 'pierrade' and wasn't disappointed. Plenty of food and effort taken to ensure we were happy. The place itself is cosy and intimate and the owners are wonderful, as are the clients, all appeared to live locally, were warm, inviting, pleasant and decent... A few were even funny! We enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we stayed after dinner, until closing, and had a wonderful evening of talking and laughing with all the patrons. I couldn't recommend this place more and would be over the moon if this was my local. Have been considering moving to the area to make it so! Great pub, good selection on draught, great team, professional and friendly. Keep up...

A gem of a micro pub. Fabulous pint of Settle Earl Grey IPA. Limited opening times but well worth seeking out for the beer and the ambiance. Support this sort of enterprise because it could so easily disappear. A bit of a local hub for art, film and craft and deserves support from art and beer...

What an amazing little place great beer and great people I would highly recommend a visit I will be back.
