Some really lovely interior pieces. Enquired into purchasing two pieces of furniture and one member of staff didn’t know how to handle the enquire and was quite negative and the manager (the owner?) almost seemed Offended that I wanted to buy things from them! Mentioned something about problems with stock (which I get, it’s a global issue) but genuinely looked perplexed and mentioned that she couldn’t possibly sell me display items (I hadn’t asked) as they belonged to the shop. The manager was very much head of the sales Prevention department which is a such a shame as the stock is beautiful and I would have bought the display items and arranged a courier but the whole experience made me feel like I was stupid for wanting to buy things. Might I suggest removing the prices from items you don’t wish to to or can’t sell to avoid receiving these kind...

Visited previously for coffee and cake and although the food and drink was fine the service was bit lacklustre. We decided to visit again but this time the experience was dire! After sitting at table for around ten minutes I asked a waitress, who was previously avoiding eye contact, if we could order coffee. She explained that her colleague would take our order soon. After another long wait my wife made the same request to another two waitresses who were within earshot. They both totally ignored my wife. We were extremely irritated so we left the cafe without ordering. It would have been nice to have been acknowledged by one of the waitresses with “sorry for the wait, be with you in a moment” it’s a great way to let a customer know they have been noticed. Looking at the floor when passing or turning a deaf ear is...

One star left as you cannot post a review with 0 stars unfortunately. Obnoxious man behind the counter barked at us to use the hand sanitiser as we entered the shop. My husband has an allergic reaction to alcohol based sanitiser & therefore asked the person if it had alcohol in. He was told yes & when he said he could not use it, the fellow told us in a very unpleasant manner 'well you can't come in then'. My husband does carry his own to use on occasions such as this, however the shop assistant had no interest in whether this was case. Extremely rude, unpleasant & I am so glad I did not spend any money in there. For info - I discovered that you can get some of the same products they sell for less directly from the...

Great food and service was friendly too. We also had lovely cakes to take away and the portions were generous. The coffee was really tasty and you can buy their Red Brick coffee as ground if you want. We had tasty chicken and tarragon pie with filo pastry and skinny chips. The meal was served in only about 10-15 minutes even though it was busy. Lots of customers here. Have a look at the gallery upstairs and super posh shop next door. We didn't buy anything but we would have if we were richer 🤓👍🏻😁😜

Lovely cafe, staff were friendly. There were lots of nice seating space. We could see the lovely gallery up the stairs. The coffee was nice. The GF cake was wonderful. The staff knew their allergies as well. As soon as they mentioned their special, they mentioned how it had almonds in. Which I appreciate as my partner has a nut allergy(apart from almonds). The cake was so nice, we ended up taking a slice to take with us on our journey.
