Warrens Bakery Ltd — Restaurant in England

I am a strong believer in 'not killing cash,' l think physical cash is essential in society and l strive to use it where ever possible. I choose Warren's because the other pasty bakery in town is card only. My pasty was £4.95, so l pulled out a £5. The young woman asked if l could pay by card, l said no and asked why. She said she had no 5 pence pieces for change. I paid with my £5 and said not to worry about the 5p. But as l was walking away, l wondered whether she had 2s and 1s? Maybe give me 10p? Or even 20p and an apology? I have paid cash with this person before, and she did appear to be doing a mental maths gcse as she handed me my change in the past.
