Zidane's Indulgence — Restaurant in England

Generally decent food, can be hit and miss. Overall the cakes my friends and I have had have been ok; do not recommend the milkshakes. Where this store really falls short is the customer service, or lack thereof.

After having the first and only issue with Zidanes, which was a missing cake from our order; my friend rang up to ask where it was. Maybe the delivery driver missed it? But rather than having a helpful member of staff to talk to she spoke to a rude, defensive person claiming to be the owner. The owner claimed that they "get this all of the time" and did not believe us. He requested we send photographic evidence to his mobile number (not that this can actually prove anything).

He claimed to have done the order himself, but the phone was on loudspeaker and we heard a girl in the background state she put two cakes in the same box, the owner then repeated what the woman had said but said he had done it himself.

Working in customer service myself I know you never accuse the customer of something such as lying or theft without at least getting their side of the story first and looking into it, and it does not take much to at least remain polite.

In the end we did receive a replacement cake, but the despicable customer service will stop us from ever...

Zidane’s Indulgent in York – A Must-Visit!

I recently visited Zidane’s Indulgent in York, and it was hands down one of the best dessert experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. We were served by a very friendly man who took the time to walk us through the menu, sharing his recommendations with such enthusiasm that it made choosing even more exciting.

I opted for the cookie dough, and let me tell you—it was absolutely amazing! Perfectly warm, gooey, and crunchy it was everything you want a cookie dough to be and more.

If you’re in York and have a sweet tooth, do yourself a favor and visit Zidane’s Indulgent. You won’t regret it! I’ll definitely be returning for...

Had the urge for cake, unfortunately they didn’t have the cake I was looking for which was ok as soon as I saw they had Oreo milkshakes (was not disappointed by it at all) I ordered around 20 minutes before they closed, they still accepted my order, which in my book is amazing I also got a hot cookie and some childhood faves fruit salads the menu was full of amazing choices, usually I have no faith in just eat but they definitely didn’t disappoint they came bang on time like it said on justeat and I was greeted by the loviest of drivers he handed over my order and was overall lovely, will definitely be going back for another Oreo milkshake soon thank you for the great customer service would...
