We decided to take my grandma here for her 92nd birthday. Who is in a wheel chair. When booking I did not mention this as we had never been here before and did not know that some of the seating was upstairs. The staff where very friendly on arrival but they had clearly planned on seating us upstairs so they had to push some tables together to accommodate us. This wasn't to much of an issue as it was resolved quickly. They also do not have a disabled downstairs toilet which in 2022 honestly did shock me! Thankfully during our visit my nan did not require to use the facilities, I do not know what we would have done if she did as there was no way we could have got her and her wheelchair upstairs. It is also very tight down stairs so she was constantly being knocked on the back of her chair by staff and customers to which I would add not one person, staff included apologised when they knocked into her. It's not her fault she is wheelchair bound. However the food was great, very tasty, well presented and was reasonable value for money (but only because we had a voucher for 20% off the bill) otherwise I would say it was on the steeper side. The table ordered from all 3 sections of the menu, the sushi, the tapas and off the mains. The cocktails where nice and well made but i would also add that I noticed the whole time we where there if the mixologist didn't have orders to make he was just playing on his phone in full view of the whole downstairs restaurant, I felt that was unprofessional. Overall - the food was great. - price on the steeper side but mostly worth the value. - not really disabled/ wheelchair friendly so consider this before visiting because if you are wheelchair bound you will not be able to go to toilet. - my nan did enjoy herself despite being knocked into a lot. And she did throughly enjoy the food. If she went again I would request the round table / window seat near the door as we would be able to tuck the wheelchair out the way of the main passage way.

Let’s just Pause, STOP! And talk about ‘Tamasha’ Restaurant! If you haven’t already, this place is a MUST!!! 💯 Located in Mapperley ( NG35QS ) on the main road, it’s not difficult to find at all. Parking is round the back, free for 2 hours or £1 for 4 hours. An absolute Bargain. ‘Tamasha’ Restaurant has been on my list of places to visit for a while. Featured over Instagram quite a lot. I always fear the experience won’t live up to the expectations, but ‘Tamasha’ Restaurant just didn’t disappoint in any way, shape or form. We arrived on time and we’re given a warm welcome, a table upstairs by the window with the road view. To be honest, you could sit anywhere in ‘Tamasha’ restaurant and enjoy the decor and ambiance. It really is a Beautiful place to visit and experience. The Menu is amazing, there were many different options I would have loved to have tried, in addition to this ‘Tamasha’ Restaurant have a ‘day’ and a ‘night’ menu, giving you many reasons to return, and believe me, you WILL return. I tried the Lamb Curry with Jasmine Rice. The Rice was really nice, but the Lamb was soft and succulent, I could have continued eating this all evening. The drinks have a perfect measure of alcohol mixed with your choice of soft drink and the perfect level of ice without it tasting too diluted .The Dessert menu is also appetising. A great selection of desserts, you’ll find space for it even if your absolutely famished from the main meal. I can honestly say ‘Tamasha’ restaurant served some of the Best food I’ve had in a while. Thank you so much to Allanah and her team for looking after and catering for us tonight. A memorialable evening. Thank you. So whether your out with friends, family or that special someone one, don’t let Tamasha be your alternative choice but your ‘Main Meal’ ! 💫

Came with the good wife for an after work treat. Friendly, helpful staff, chilled music and so classy and comfortable. Good wife had the crab cakes for starters, I had the saffron scallops. The crab cakes were delicious and the sticky sweet chilli sauce was a treat. The scallops were perfectly cooked and a good size. Yum! For mains GW had Massaman lamb shank and i had the miso monkfish. I definitely "won" this course. The lamb shank was beautifully cooked, fall off the bone tender and the sauce was wonderfully rich. The miso monkfish, though, was truly exceptional. A delicate soy crust and sesame seeds atop a generous piece of perfectly cooked monkfish. The Tamasha potatoes were fantastic. The masala sauce on those really elevated them. The salad was dressed beautifully and the moullis set it all off a treat. The cocktails were thoughtful and well done, old fashioned for me with a pecan bourbon and indian summer for her which was so so good and topped off with a champagne gel/foam. We finished off with deserts, good wife had the tiramisu and i had the chocolate bombe with hot salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. The perfect finish to a super meal. All in with 3 courses wine and cocktails we paid £140, money very well spent. Go on, treat yourselves!

Shocking . I was drawn to tamasha grill by there immaculate social media, but shame there service & food didn’t equate to this. We were sat right by the door so a constant draft whenever anyone entered the building which was constant as tables weren’t free for people who had booked and ended up leaving because they were forced to have drinks stood up while people surrounding them grew more annoyed waiting for there dinner. We thought the starters were underwhelming for the charge of £13.95 for one dish. To then finish them and it take an 1 hour and 20 minutes for mains which we had to chase and the waiter never came back to let us know nor apologise - in this time we were not asked for drinks and they had also forgot to give us cutlery. I had the tandoori skewers which weren’t edible due to how burnt they were and we were not asked if everything was okay at any point during the meal. I told the girl this she never apologised just said she would feed it back to the chef? No offer of trying to make the situation better. To then have to ask to remove the service charge as it was genuinely awful. Don’t chance it.

Disappointing service & wait times let this place down. Not to mention if you order “Tamasha Rose Lemonade” for £4 you only get half of a small bottle of lemonade in a glass. The tables are squashed together, we (along with many others) were waiting to be seated, crammed in by the bar - with servers & diners trying to get past…it was just an awful experience. We eventually were seated & started eating over an hour after our table was booked. Every time a waiter/waitress came to the table, they were lovely and polite and apologised for taking so long but that wore thin on the 3rd time & nothing was offered to “soften the blow” - all in all the whole service let this place down & when you spend so much for top market prices , you expect service to be top notch too. Go other places nearby that are less expensive & pride themselves on service. Tamasha means “commotion or fuss” and yeah it was a commotion in here with so many people crammed in.

I don't agree with the comment below about rice. Am a fussy eater but ... It's absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, full of aroma and flavor. Every meal I've tried was like an art on the plate. Served by amazing waiting staff with big smiles and surrounded in warm atmosphere . Highly recommended
