Bangkok Mami - Gravesend — Restaurant in Gravesham

The service is at Bangkok Mami is APPALING. I wouldn't trust this place with my money. I ordered through their website which had a £5 discount for a first order. Total cost on checkout was £19.90, I opted to pay by cash on delivery. When the delivery driver arrived, he said it was £24.90, and he showed me a receipt saying the same. I called the restaurant, and the lady on the phone told me that I still had to pay £24.90 even though the website total told me £19.90. She even said this has happened to people many times before as the website is 'glitchy'! If they know it's a problem with the website, surely they should honour the price at checkout? She refused! She told me she had spoken to the manager who agreed I should pay the £24.90. I asked to speak to the manager, and then magically the manager (who she had JUST spoken to) was 'not there'. I decided to give the food back. I then got a call 5 mins later saying that she had spoken to the manager again who said I could pay £19.90.

What kind of nonsense is this? You can't just make up prices once someone has already checked out and then refuse to honour the price! I won't be...

They’ve hired an abusive driver he came to my door after buzzing up complaining that I hadn’t answered my phone? Anytime Uber eats delivers they always buzz up and come upstairs this weirdo was just too lazy to walk upstairs expecting me to meet him at the door so he didn’t get out of my car!

Started raising his voice and wouldn’t back down after I said he’d only buzzed once? Doesn’t matter if you tried calling me you are a delivery driver I have no obligation to meet you at the front of a building!!!

Called up Bangkok Mami and they refused to take my side or apologise, I said I’m never ordering from you again your driver is a weirdo they said that’s fine!

So to all you women/families ordering from here BEWARE the driver was aggressive, abusive, slim build moustache + heavy accent.. I was genuinely scared luckily my mom was with...

We ordered here as a last minute thing. We had aromatic crispy duck which came all diced up... we prefer to shed the duck. They supplied us with 2 dishes that we didn't order which was very kind. One was sesame prawn toast which was amazing. The other was a soup which was neither here nor there for us. We also ordered King Prawns in oyster sauce which was ok. Then special fried rice which was totally dry and tasteless....no sauce. Just plain and drab. We also ordered King Prawn Pad Thai.... it was so awful that I couldn't even separate it and ended up chopping it into pieces just to get it out and make it somewhat edible. I wouldn't recommend this place although maybe some of their food may be edible. On the positive.... our foxes had a good feed on Thai and I'm positive that they didn't care what it...
