Benny's Chicken — Restaurant in Great Britain

The chicken strips, wraps, chips (fries), were tasty and freshly made. A welcome snack after a long night of partying.

Due to the time of night; unfortunately, it does mean that there's quite a mixture of people in there. Not all of them are pleasant. Many get frustrated with the speed of service, so raise their voice and create bad feeling.

The service and behaviour of the staff I saw, was impeccable. They seemed to be accurate with orders, and dealt with many different types of customer characters in a professional and polite manner but! ... The kitchen/staff assisted to struggle to meet the demands of customers. Given that they are making a tidy turnaround at that time on what is probably the best night of the week (I think it was Saturday). I think they should consider either employing another staff member, or having a more efficient or higher capacity fryer situation. They are stunting profits and annoying customers with slow service. I suspect the known issue drives regular customers away, at busy times.

I ordered 4 meals and had to wait around half an hour. That might be ok in a traditional restaurant at a busy time, but it's not acceptable for fast...

Avoid this takeaway like the plague. Walked in saw the place wasn’t clean, tables were filthy and so was the counter. Ordered a two piece chicken and chips, but the owner charged me £4.99 for the meal when he had posters advertising the same meal for £3.45 as a lunch time meal and the set price had a time between 11am and 5pm, but yet he wouldn’t allow this considering it is false advertising. Once I got my meal, I sat and ate it. Took my first bite and wasn’t expecting anything good, but I ate one piece of chicken which put me off with how greasy, dry it was, but I should’ve known this when you could tell the chicken had been sat in the hot hold for hours, which is where they keep chicken warm once it has been cooked. Legally the meat should only been in there for an hour under health safety guidelines. With in half hour I began to have stomach ache and I do believe is from the chicken I had ate. It’s now been 24 hours since I had that meal and I’m constantly running back and forth to the bathroom. So please stay away from this place unless you want food poisoning and a bad stomach, absolutely...

Driving back from London so dropped in for a break after Googling for Halal food outlets.

Asked if its ok to park outside, they didnt have a clue🤷🏻‍♀️

Useless order taking system, girls on desk hardly spoke English. Speaking in own language, how very rude.

Awaiting my change , she was giving money to the other girl behind the till, not me!!!

Food came, what can only be described as average.

Burger looked like it had been sat on, the fries were stale and warm at best. Taste wasnt great either.

I was going to complain but just ate quickly and wanted to get out of there.

Place wasnt that clean or fresh, nothing seemed to be freshly cooked and ready to go🤔

Next time will go to DALLAS Chicken opposite as this looked much cleaner and better value.

Ok place if youre on a student night out, totally wasted and need some food otherwise AVOID...
