The drag was terrible but the atmosphere was fun and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. But the drag really was terrible. Lots of swearing with no wit is not funny. The outfits were great though. Dont get me wrong... i LOVE good drag. I really appreciate the increase in drag culture in Glasgow. The drag last night (wesnesday 8th May) was just really poor quality compared to what i've seen. Overall still loved the night. Things have changed from when I first started coming here but the old Dels is always still here and that's great. It's like coming home

Delmonica Glasgow: is in the center of Glasgow, and it's a very nice environment to be with a group of friends or on a date. There are very varied proposals throughout the week, in general I always had fun. Although sometimes the music is so loud that it is practically impossible to ask for a drink. Recomendo/aos visitantes!

I've been going to Delmonicas for 10 years, introduced many of my straight pals and they think it's such a slay. It's an inclusive environment that accepts everyone in the lgbtq community and outwith. Delmonicas has also been a safe space for me and it's a great way to spread good vibes and educate about our culture.

This like thousands of reviews here about “solo blockage at the entry”

Never been so humiliated. I get that you may have policies but the way it’s enforced go a long way. I see hundreds of reviews about bouncers being rude or humiliating customers, the pr team will reply on each comment but it seems nothing is done to rectify this situation as it keeps reoccurring.

In my own case, I was trying to go into the bar and the bouncer was like no, he didn’t even ask me anything or ask if I’m alone, he just said “no you’re not entering” I was like why? He said I’m alone, I can’t enter if I’m alone. Then I tried explaining that I was in there before, I just stepped out to handle some stuff and I’m alone because I’m visiting Glasgow from another city and lodging at Revolvers. He was so rude to me that a dude standing by tried to intervene and asked what’s going on? He totally snubbed me and started talking on his radio, probably calling on another security, who knew what he had in mind planned. I just left to save my remaining dignity before anything escalates. I have been to many countries n cities as a solo traveller and had a nice time each place. None have made me feel lonely and homesick like this ever.

It’s one thing to have a policy and politely explain it to people because most people experiencing this are maybe first time solo visitors like me who have no idea about the policy, politely explaining it goes a long way than treating customers who are there to be in a safe place and spend their hard earned money like trash being thrown away.

And do something about this bouncers that keeps being reported. The one that did this to me was an older white man with kinda blondish grey hair, I couldn’t get his name. I’m not the type that reports people or write reviews but this is to show how much these hurt me. Anyway wish y’all luck but you will prob never be seeing me or anyone I...

We are a group of 5 friends and we came all the way from oxford to celebrate one of my friends bday.we went to the club during the day just to check how it was,and it was great.a lovely lady serving on the bar was very friendly and even were interacting with us what made us do not even look to another place to go for the night.when we got there for the evening(around 3 hours ago) we had a round of drinks, then we bough 2 bottles of prosecco to celebrate then the bday.it says the club closes at 1am,when it was 00:00 the music were off and lights on,a really rude bouncer came to table when we were still having one of the bottles full as we had just bought it and for twice he said we had to finish the drinks.as if we were there not consuming,or giving them troubles.i just told them they shouldn't have sold the drink if they knew they were closing earlier, and we were aware that we had to go,but we couldn't just drink a bottle of prosecco as if it was shots!for our surprise,10 min later when we finish the drinks and it was still people there finishing their drinks we then went to the bar on the side as they gave us free entry.for our surprise,we couldn't get in as they said we had problems at the previous bar. his attitude stinks and he clearly has no idea how to and shouldn't be dealing with people,or much less working at a night club.we would go back for all the other 4 days we have left to enjoy Glasgow but he totally have put us off.shame as we really enjoyed the place earlier.to the rude bouncer, only thing I got to say is that we know being at work sucks, but I also know you are not working for free.if you do not enjoy what you do,at least do what you get paid for or change it if you're not happy.wish you a really good sleep and a relaxed night.you are ugly, should be at least polite to make a balance.would never...

Terrible experience. Today, October 31st, around 10 PM, the security guard was extremely rude at the entrance, refusing to let one person in. When my friends and I tried to enter, he said he wouldn't let us in either because we were with another person. But we weren't. Terrible service for us tourists who want to explore a new area of Glasgow. Regarding the response below: There was a line for Apollo that passed in front of your bar. We tried to cross the line, which was blocking your entrance, and when we reached the security guard, he said we couldn't enter. We were a group of three. It was awful because we're from a country that doesn't have the tradition of celebrating Halloween, and we were excited for our first experience. We chose your bar a week in advance based on a friend's recommendation, and when we arrived, we were stopped by the security guard who simply said we couldn't enter. He didn't explain why or even listen to us, turning his face away when we said we were tourists. I don't know if it was because our English wasn't good, but anyway. It happened, and I wanted to give this feedback so that it's helpful for customer service at your...
