We visited this establishment today with very high hopes as it was the first time to experience a halal carvery which unfortunately were drowned very quickly. Upon arrival we were met by a pleasant manager who gave us a choice of a few tables. The place was quiet but what do you expect on a Monday after lunch time. After being seated, we browsed through the menu which did actually look good. We then walked over to the much anticipated carvery and were met by a rather unprofessional chef. After being made aware of prices and what you were to expected to receive we watched how our plates were being piled up with food. The chef pulled over some surgical gloves over his hands and using those hands filled our plates with vegetables. With the same knife sliced into the beef and turkey and referring to my wife as "hen". We returned to our table with the food and were left with total disappointment. The food was cold and the beef was rare cooked. We made management aware of this and were offered a discount. We also noticed plates which were being cleared from another table, which was close by and the food had not been touched. We don't think they enjoyed the a la carte menu. Sorry but won't be back. I sincerely wish the best of luck to the owners. My pictures will make the food look good!

Me & my husband ate here on Saturday night for the first time. We arrived and greeted with a warm welcome from the lady at the front desk and taken to our seat immediately. I had allergy and advised upon booking and lady thanked us for adding this comment. When server took our order (very polite and welcoming), we also advised of the allergy. Unfortunately when food came it had items on it that I had already advised had allergy too. It was taken back to the kitchen & made freshly & replaced quickly. The server was very apologetic about it (not his fault it was kitchen not following the order). The food was lovely when we got it & we only had a main because we had cinema booked and were running a little late. The only reason I have given 4 stars is due to the kitchen error on my order, but otherwise I was happy with the overall visit & would eat here again maybe on a more relaxed visit. The prices were reasonable and staff friendly & welcoming.

OMG it’s such an amazing place!!! I’ve been there with my colleagues for a lunch. We’ve tried so many different things. They have a variety of options available. My colleagues had chicken burger, mac and cheese, carvery, etc. I ordered their falafel burger and it was delicious. Honestly, all the portions were massive and tummy filling. We all loved the food. They even have pottery and art things there. Looked really nice. I’ll give it a try in my next visit. I was very impressed by the ambiance and customer service. The servers were very polite and friendly. Overall..great experience including good service, good food portions and quality, nice ambiance. Would definitely recommend this place and will come back again.

Decided to come here for the first time last week because it was a handy location for meeting friends and also because the menu had something to suit everyone. When we arrived it wasn’t too busy but we were standing at the door for a good while before we were shown to our seats. We then waited around 10 minutes before anyone came over to give us menus. It must have been about 15/20 minutes before anyone then came to take our food order. What I wanted to order they didn’t actually have any of which happens I suppose but would have been nice to know when we were given menus as was then scared to ask for more time to look in case the waitress didn’t come back again. My friend ordered nachos which came and they were cold, like nothing on it was heated the cheese was a cold cheese sauce rather than actual melted cheese or nachos cheese sauce. The burgers were good at least. The drinks menu is weird, online they have a menu with alcohol but this is not available in the restaurant. There is a mocktails section on the drinks menu but doesn’t tell you what’s in any of them and they’re not classic mocktails names so you wouldn’t be able to guess. I think this place has potential, the idea is good but the service was really slow and thinking about that cold cheese...
