Chaiiwala — Restaurant in Scotland

I recently visited Chiawala Glasgow multiple times a week, but I must say that my recent experiences have been quite disappointing. The decline in service quality, increased waiting times, and inconsistency in the temperature of the beverages have left a sour taste in my mouth.

During my most recent visit, I found myself waiting for an excessive fifteen minutes to receive just four cups of tea. Such a prolonged waiting time is unacceptable, especially considering that Chiawala is known for its quick service. It is disappointing to witness a decline in efficiency and promptness, as these were the very reasons that attracted me to this establishment in the first place.

Moreover, the inconsistency in the temperature of the tea was another letdown. While one cup of tea was served hot, the remaining three cups were disappointingly cool. This lack of attention to detail suggests a lapse in quality control and an overall disregard for customer satisfaction.

As a regular customer, I have come to expect better from Chiawala. The recent decline in service standards has left me questioning whether this is an isolated incident or a systemic issue. In either case, it is clear that improvements need to be made in order to restore the once delightful experience that Chiawala Glasgow provided.

I hope that Chiawala takes this feedback seriously and takes the necessary steps to rectify the issues at hand. With improved service efficiency and a consistent approach to temperature control, they have the potential to regain their reputation as a reliable and enjoyable tea destination.

Despite my recent disappointments, I remain hopeful that Chiawala will address these concerns and strive towards providing a better customer experience in the future Store location...

Ordered Deliveroo from here tonight, service was prompt. Firstly I have to mention that I ordered a blueberry muffin and received a chocolate muffin, which I took to mean blueberry is sold out. Can't yet speak for the quality of the muffin (for breakfast tomorrow lol) but does seem nice and moist when squidged through the packet.

Also as can be seen on the receipt I paid a little extra for (what I was thought was) whipped cream on top of my iced pink chai, however it could mean that they make it with a cream blend as there was no whipped cream on top? The chai had a lovely flavour though, very refreshing and helped take the heat out of the main 😊

The chips could have been saltier and were a little soggy from condensation in the box, though overall very nice, but I was really blown away by the butter chicken roll!! So soft, so flavourful, and packed with chicken — my spice tolerance is 0 so the kick of heat at the end of each bite was a bit painful 😅 but worth it as it was absolutely delicious.

I also got the chocolate dream cake which I was worried might be dry but oh my God I can't even describe the texture — moist, soft, and fudgy with rich chocolate flavour and not too sweet!! It was almost too much to finish but I managed 😂 overall, really tasty and I would definitely order from...

Unfortunately, my recent experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. I would give it a negative review due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff.

During our brunch, we ordered a significant amount of food, which amounted to almost £90 (6 adults). However, the staff (Nina) made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome by jokingly calling us "silly" for ordering so much. This was completely uncalled for and unprofessional.

To add to our frustration, the buzzer they gave us to indicate when our food was ready did not work. When we inquired about our food, the same staff member (Nina) rudely responded with, "the food won't fly to you." This was an incredibly unhelpful and dismissive response.

When we asked about their specialty dessert, the staff member rudely retorted, "haven't you ordered enough food already." This was incredibly disrespectful and showed a complete lack of hospitality and professionalism.

To top it all off, the food itself was subpar, with a rating of only 2 out of 5 at best. The only redeeming quality was the tea.

Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff, coupled with mediocre food. I left feeling incredibly disappointed and...
