LB's Pizza House — Restaurant in Great Britain

LB's pizza is clean enough and presented well enough. The problem is the food. We went to LB's a few months ago I had the carbonara and my kids and partner had pizza. The food was ok but the pasta I had was a very small portion. This time the carbonara was again in a very small portion but very very bland. All that my partner and I could taste was the cream used no garlic and no herbs just cream and the pasta was very over cooked. We sent this back and asked for a pizza I stead. This came along and although better than the pasta it had a pitiful amount of toppings on it, also they fell off everytime it was picked up to eat. Service was ok. Even though we had our 10yr old and an 18month old baby we were not offered a kids menu and had to find find one and no offer of a high chair again had to go searching. For the price you are charged for the food and drinks (of which I ha e no problem paying if the food and service are good) i would expect a higher level of service and a higher quality of food. In summary I'd say to give it a go, but please keep in mind what I've mentioned in this review. A note to LB's would be either up your game or adjust your pricing to reflect...

AMAZING GLUTEN FREE LASAGNA!!!!

We stumbled upon this place by chance and so glad we did!

As a coeliac it’s often difficult to have pasta dishes that I actually enjoy. I was a little deflated that I couldn’t have the pizza even though it’s on a gluten free base (it’s cooked in the same oven as normal pizzas) however, I was able to have the beef lasagna.

I actually didn’t fancy eating any pizza/pasta when we first arrived but the more I thought about it, the more I had realised I hadn’t had a lasagna in a very long time (especially a freshly made one rather than the M&S oven one). I hadn’t read on the menu that it was beef pieces rather than minced but I have to say I actually preferred it!

It arrived after waiting a short time and did not disappoint at all! It was delicious! Unfortunately I couldn’t finish it all (there was a lot!) but I certainly gave it a good go and even gave some to my 17 month old who also loved it!

I was glad we stopped here as the pizzas my husband and children had looked amazing & fresh and my food was absolutely perfect.

Don’t know what happened tonight but that’s the worst meal out ever! Ordered starters and mains for 2. My wife’s starter turned up ok but mine was ordered as Garlic bread with cheese and ended up with Garlic bread! My Garlic bread with Cheese turns up after I had eaten the 1st one! Turns out I ate the next tables starter. My main turned up and looked great! Unfortunately I was eating another persons main as I had exchanged chicken for pepperoni and didn’t realise this until eating as was a calzone. After eating half of this pizza another order comes to the table which was my correct main but my wife’s was wrong! After having to ask for the drinks a couple of times we gave up as a bad experience! So sorry for the other diners who had patiently waited for their food which I had eaten! Got to admit the staff are fiendly but there needs to be some organisation! What I ate was good but have never seen a restaurant getting meals wrong so much!!
