I don't think I've ever enjoyed a little afternoon tea as much as I enjoyed Leman's. We were lucky to come in at an empty hour, the afternoon of a Tuesday, and were immediately welcomed by Mr Moiz who was so friendly and good company. The place was magical and an absolute gem, decorated so delicately, and it was so dearing to know that it was all handmade, down to the menus too! - No page was the same, each page and corner had its own magical, homemade touch. The whole place was designed so thoughtfully and full of love and good intentions, a place out of a dream and the ones you'd see in children's books growing up. We had cream tea, earl grey tea and 2 cakes: banana caramel and lemon cake. The tea was delightful and natural, not the packaged ones you'd find, but the one with its leaves still brewed. We shared the scones and cakes together and I loved each one more by every bite! The cakes were an absolute delight. I was never a big fan of scones, but the scones here changed me! In fact, I think it might be my favourite order. To add to their thoughtfulness, Mr Moiz even added our owncountry's flags onto the cakes in place of UK flags. Just a small touch, but made us feel very warm and homey. Overall, the experience was top-notch; magical and dream-like. Spectacular service and food, and the prices are great too, especially for students! We used to think we'd have to save up for a tea experience of this class, but this was probably much more delightful and intim ate than any other tea experience we'd find elsewhere. We didn't have to break the bank to feel like royalty in here. We absolutely loved it here, and will definitely recommend this place to anybody that visits Brighton, and absolute must visit of a gem.

Very cute tea place. Place is quite small . Only like 6 tables. I think you can reserve the place. The scones was alright. Very big for 1 person to finish. A little dry but the clotted cream is the bomb.

I decided to take my nephew for a traditional afternoon tea experience and I couldn’t think of anywhere more ideal to go than Lemans tearoom . From the very first moment , the attentiveness was incredible , not to overly fussy or intrusive but kind and warming . The selection of teas was incredible . We decided to go for the lemans own blend and it was delicious . Then we were explained what the options for the cakes were and : mamma mia! The lemon drizzle cake was a winner . All the cakes looked so moist and great portion sizes . Having finished deciding what cakes we wanted, we were presented the afternoon tea stand . My word ! It looked so scrumptious and appealing . And everything tasted as good as it looked . The scones were light and fluffy , the sandwiches were soft , fresh and well filled . The selection overall was so delicious and then , the hostess which is also the owner , presented little flags from the countries we were from and pierced our scones with them . I think that detail was such a special touch ! The price was really good . It’s great value for money and a lovely experience . Guys , if you want to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in Brighton and you want to treat someone special for this lovely experience , come to Lemans Tea Room . You will love it !

Leman Tea Room is small and cozy. You can get afternoon tea in other places in the UK, but here at the Leman they specialize in it and the whole experience. Be lucky enough to arrive when it is not busy. You can always reserve a table and come back. My wife and I have been fortunate enough to come to Brighton 3 years in a row from the USA. Visiting the Leman Tea Room for cream tea is a MUST for us - and it is part of what draws us back into Brighton. The owners feel a bit like family. I have seen hen parties here and lots of small celebrations among the tourist filled tables. It's a small charming place. Each year the tea room experience changes a little. It's fun to see what cute changes the business is going add and what the welcoming owners will share to the change up the lovely ambience for us. I found out this year at the tea house that I am a Darjeeling tea fan. It has a lot of caffeine, but if I'm lucky enough to go visit the tea room in 2025, that will be my tea of choice. Be well all! Thanks for reading! Have a...
