I am utterly appalled by the treatment I witnessed at this establishment. During my visit, I saw one of the staff members behaving in an unbelievably rude and condescending manner toward a customer who had simply asked for a plate to eat their food. Apparently, this innocent request was deemed unacceptable, though I cannot fathom why.

The waiter’s behavior was beyond inappropriate—completely unapologetic, patronizing, and unnecessarily confrontational. What started as rudeness escalated into something far worse: the waiter actually grabbed the customer’s arm in an aggressive and threatening manner. This is not just bad service; it is physical assault, plain and simple. I am shocked that the police weren’t called because, had it happened to me, I would have reported it immediately.

It is beyond comprehension how any restaurant could allow such behavior. Dining out is supposed to be a pleasant experience where you feel welcomed and valued, not mistreated or demeaned for a perfectly reasonable request. I felt unsafe witnessing this, and I can only imagine how the victim of this incident must have felt.

While the food was undeniably delicious, it was the warmth and genuine hospitality of the host and management that truly captivated me. The atmosphere was akin to being welcomed back into my mother's home, filled with sincere love and heartfelt sincerity.

Location •

Nazende is locted pretty much in central Brighton along the main road, if you are lucky you might be able to find parking down the side road but if not theres a car park 5 minuets walking distance.

Atmosphere •

The resturant has a great ambience to it & very pretty decor that complients the mediterranean / turkish vibe going on. I thought it was so cool that they had soothing sounds of birds chirping playing in the background .. i dont know it gave it a really relaxing vibe.

Food•

The food menu did not have a wide verity of choices as other turkish establishments usually have however they had a good selection of food to pick from. We had beyti & adana kebab. The food portion sizes are fair, the salad was fresh but i will be honest i thought the meat lacked a little in flavour. I wish my beyti had a bit more yoghurt and tomatoe sauce but thats just my own personal prefrence . Overall i left the restaurant satisfied .

Service • We got seated straight away and it did not take very long for our order to be taken. My food arrived a little late but i can appreciate that the restaurant was quite full , we got the salad on the house, which was nice of them.
