At around 16:15 on 10th of February 2024, they were having their free gelato event. And they lead you on thinking there's no hidden agenda behind it. But once we got there, these two men demanded me and my boyfriend to write them a 5 star only review. We were forced to give 5 stars or we wouldn't get a free gelato. Everyone who came for free gelato had to do the same. They never said in their Facebook post that you had to give anything in exchange for free gelato, so I think that was incredibly misleading/deceiving of them. They literally hold you hostage on the spot to write it before they serve you. When I gave 4 stars, one of the men stopped me from picking my flavour and said "I think you made a mistake and gave us 4 stars by accident. So could you please change to 5 stars? Yeah, thank you". It was so funny to hear him say that. I really didn't make a mistake. I wanted to give 4 stars at first, but him passively aggressively assuming my intentions and forcing me to change my review to 5 stars really put me off so it's now dropped to 2 stars. You don't force your customers to do things, unless they are destroying things in the shop and being a nuisance or disorderly towards others. Are customers not free to review a place honestly in their own opinion? People prefer honesty. The only reason it's 2 stars is because the gelato tasted nice enough and I appreciate that it was free, though a small scoop. But I definitely know of creamier and nicer gelato places, I won't lie. I think their interior could be improved to look less over the...

First time I've visited a Creams venue. We arrived Valentine's night at 21.25 after going somewhere else as the website said they were open until 23.00. We were hoping to sit down for an ice cream. There were 4 people behind the counter and about 3 couples of customers (i.e. More than a server per couple). We were 2nd in the queue. We were told that it was takeaway only and waffles would be ages. OK we only wanted a 2 scoop ice cream cone and a three scooo ice cream tub which seemed simple enough. In any normal place it might have taken a few minutes to create. Then the Deliveroo guys turn up. We see all these orders going out ahead of us. Finally after 20 minutes we get asked to confirm our flavours for our order again whilst the guy makes it. I couldn't believe it took so long to serve some ice cream. It tasted very nice but definitely took the fun out of the end of the evening and I won't be going back. Companies need to get their Deliveroo orders and in-store experience balanced better with the...

The choice of Gelato ice creams available is huge, and I opted for a Knicker Bocker Glory. Unfortunately, the service is PAINFULLY slow. When I went in it was not busy at all, and they don't offer a table service. It seemed like they might be short staffed, as there was only one girl both making the ice creams up and serving customers. The waiting time to be served was unacceptable, but I made an allowance because the poor girl looked a bit flustered. The Ice cream was lovely, but again I had to wait an age for it to come.

I thought I would give it another chance, but sadly on my second and third visit, the service was again ridiculously slow, and one member of staff was pretty rude and had a 'cannot be bothered to be here' attitude.

It's a real shame because I think with the right staffing, this could be a cool place to go, but it just seems like they haven't got everything...

The first impression is of slashed seating taped up with duck tape that matches, sort of. Shame.* The menu is amazing. It was really hard to choose. Took ages. I ordered a banana, toffee, salted caramel, vanilla and toffee pieces in a bubble waffle affair and it was enormous and delicious. I did leave most of the waffle. My friends loved theirs too. I felt like I eaten calories for a month and must do penance.... It was 7 quid odd and a tea was 2.35. Not bad on the whole. It would be good if you didn't have to get up to order. There is staff, why can't they take the order? *New seating now, much better.

DONT ORDER DELIVERY FROM CREAMS!!!!!!!!! I kid you not bro this is the craziest thing I’ve seen in a hot min. My friend ordered a Creamsatella waffle and when we opened it A VAPE BOX like what??! There’s levels to disrespect but this is just nuts. Whoever did that is actually sick. We loved ordering from here before but NEVER EVER AGAIN will I chance my health over your addictions. Ps: you’ve got a bad taste in vape flavours (look out for whoever smokes that on their next shifts, evidently creams is unhygienic and doesn’t care about consumers)

A very nice place to go in central brighton. The puddings here are very very nice and have not yet been able to finish a full one but you always have a chance to take home what you dont eat. The sèeting is not too bad although the slightly sticky tables which have not always been cleaned properly but because of extra seeting upstairs never had to wait for a seat. Service is okay but the price is quite high so expect to pay about 5-7 pounds for waffle and ice cream.
