I booked this hotel after seeing a popular influencer raving about it! Well location wise it’s ok. It goes downhill from entering the reception. There’s just a desk tucked behind a door and an old fashioned style lift. You have to leave your room key if you leave the hotel! We booked the Oragon room which is supposed to have a jacuzzi and sauna. The jacuzzi taps are all set up wrong. You need to climb into the bath tub to open them. The sauna did not work. After several attempts from the hotel stuff it still did not work. I called reception and overheard the man say the temperature gauge did not work but the manager Helena was hell bent on that it worked! She came into the room with her colleague to try and fix it. They were very unprofessional and said to my husband I quote “you are a very lucky man to have 3 ladies in your room”! Well I did not appreciate this unprofessionalism and I did not particularly want people walking in and out of our room during COVID! After their failed attempt 3hrs later we decided to just go to bed! Their towels have seen better days, they looked very old and frayed. The mats leading out from the sauna were damp from previous use. I expected luxury for the amount of money I paid £297 for one night. I’ve stayed at boutique hotels much cheaper than this that have a luxurious feel to them. I’ve also stayed at the ritz which is only a fraction more than this place but you get exceptional service. When I expressed my dissatisfaction the management was nothing but rude. She labelled me a “joyless” person. Good luck to this establishment and trying to improve your standards as you are frankly rude! I was offered 15% discount for my next visit which I kindly declined and asked for it as a refund. Initially she stated on her email that she would process it immediately but eventually does after 5days, 2 emails and a phone call! If you want luxury...

Read moreThis hotel is in a great location. The shortest walk to the beach without being right on the busy main road, and a short walk in the opposite direction to be right in the town centre.
Every interaction with the staff was great. Super friendly and very accommodating/helpful.
Price wise, I do not feel this hotel was particularly cheap or expensive comparative to other options in similar categories. However, I do feel the friendly and personable vibe of the place puts it apart from other options in the area.
Decor throughout the hotel/room is incredible. It has points of interest everywhere and a really cool design. Quirky and stylish. Good sound dampening too.
Breakfasts were great, service was great, and the option to have it delivered to your room was nice.
They even held on to our luggage for a considerable time after checkout.
Overall it was a lovely place to stay and I’d definitely stay here again if returning...
